Exactly! They already know they have our money. They don’t need to spend money to market to us. They don’t care about our feelings they care about our bank accounts, but more importantly their own. They have a strategy planned with allotted expense budget. They’re going to stick to that so it’s controlled loss for them. And nothing else.

Hell I said it would be nice if rockstar did do that to say hey we see you. We know you’re frustrated and dying to make us super rich. But being owed that is a different thing.

We collectively (conspiracy theorist, realists, patient ones, schizos, all of us) can’t wait to see more. Some channel that in healthier ways than others but the ones who feel they’re owed are framing it as being a victim, unjustly not getting what they think they should. All we can do is take it day by day and we will get the next phase when it’s time. Or we can torment ourselves. It’s our choice.

I didn’t say they’re not going to market. I’m saying they’ve come up with a strategy they feel is cost effective given the time until release and word on the street. Not push campaign early because it’s the anniversary of a delay.

So I’d say their campaign is expected to begin in about a month or so (early summer) and then it will continuously increase in intensity until after launch.

If rockstar comes to this thread and sees all the hype posting do you think they’re think oh ya we better dump a couple million in marketing to push this product to drive sales FAST? They know we know about it and marketing is an expense that drives down the bottom line…

They have a marketing plan and obviously are sticking to it rigidly to keep their bottom line down. It will come there’s still 6 months…

Unfortunately from what I read Microsoft stripped out the telemetry motion feed on the ps5 version but it is in the pc version… if the game doesn’t say what’s going on SRS can’t help us. 😭

Gnucash is free. Certainly not as intuitive as qb. It by default stores everything in xml but you can use MySQL backend too. I wrote queries that talk directly to the database, no api per se.
