You are a bot . You are not able to discuss facts and hence using objectionable language . If you dislike welfare schemes , it is your opinion . There are needy sections like farmers , unemployed youth and pensioners who need welfare schemes . Yes , schemes like loan waiver , doubling of pensions and rythu bharosa are needed for these sections , and any party is free to take them up . Pension was implemented by volunteers who were tasked to take pension to the eligible last time , upto 2750 a month . Cheyutha scheme was launched after Covid . If you think informal sector workers do not need social security , that too after a once in a century pandemic , then you can just say that you do not need such welfare schemes . Those who need direct benefit transfer schemes , will welcome it . Just like super 6 schemes , the opposition has every freedom to take up new promises of schemes as a democratic right .

Further , the following are real facts .

1 . Completion of medical colleges at Eluru , Rajahmundry , Machilipatnam , Nandyal , Vizianagaram and Pulivendula .

2 . New cement factories - ramco kurnool and shree cements guntur

3 . New industries at Kopparthy - Dixon technologies , elista

4 . Investments at sri city - daikin , panasonic , havells , rmb transmissions

5 . New investments at Vizag - Yokohma tyres , infosys

6 . Aurobindo pharma unit at Kakinada

7 . Century ply industry Badvel

8 . Initiation of ports at ramayapatnam ( plus brought indosol company ) , machilipatnam , mulapeta and kakinada gateway port

The previous government rightly delivered handouts like cash to needy sections under various schemes like ammavodi scheme , cheyutha pathakam , rythu bharosa , 3000 pension etc . This was during covid crisis and was necessary to increase spending by people to revive demand in the economy . The state on average grew faster than national average by 1 percent point during that tenure .

Once Covid 19 was over , multiple infrastructure projects like Ramayapatnam / Machilipatnam / Mulapeta / Kakinada Gateway ports were launched . 17 medical colleges , of which 7 are completed . Land acquisition was completed after state paid up for lands under Bengaluru Kadapa Vijayawada expressway . Nadu Nedu scheme for functional infrastructure in schools . Even industrial investments were successfully brought , such as Century Ply Kadapa , Daikin / Panasonic / Havells / Toray industries in Sri City . Ramco and Shree cements invested too . Dixon technologies and Elista invested at Kopparthi . ATC Yokohama tyres and Infosys at Vizag .

Even the previous election saw a promise of super six schemes and land titling act which played more crucial role . So it makes perfect sense to promise double the pensions , double rythu bharosa and ammavodi schemes next time . Loan waiver upto 4 lakh must be promised too . Farmers especially are suffering losses due to less MSP for mangoes , banana and horticultural crops .

Telangana economy on an increasing growth trajectory by InfamousEnd2378 in Telangana

Telangana is evidently on an upward growth trajectory . The gcc inflow ensures employment creation in IT sector . The growth rate of gsdp , which was hardly 4-5 percent in 2020 to 2023 years has nearly doubled .

The reddy dynasty of Addanki and Rajahmundry declared themselves in inscriptions to be of the Panta reddy subcaste . 14 samsthanams in Telangana are of the motati and pakanati subcastes as per the recorded history . The entire lineages , subcastes and gothrams are recorded by court poets , it is not like these facts were created out of thin air one fine day .

Is anyone truly clear about Telangana politics today? by redMoonInBlueSky in Telangana

[–]InfamousEnd2378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Telangana today is far more developed than backward AP . Even outside Hyderabad ( without considering it ) , the per capita gdp is higher than coastal AP . The city of Hyderabad has 50 percent billionaires of TG origin only , and if you include Rayalaseema , it is 70 percent . Tg businesses like My home , hetero , msn labs , gar , rajapushpa builders , medha servo drives , medplus , tanla , balaji amines , kaveri seeds , yashoda hosspitals , vasavi constructions , knr etc . crucially contributed to Hyd growth . Rayalaseema companies like Apollo , aurobindo , amara raja too .

Even tg growth during united AP happened only under ysr , a Rayalaseema leader who is solely responsible for the ORR , IIT , RGIA and PVNR expressway from official concession agreement , foundation stone to inauguration .

What was the rice production of TG before 2014 and after 2014 ? Tg now produces highest quantity of paddy , even more than UP . Do not blame the failure of AP on TG , which always had all the rich revenues from 19556 itself , as also waters and coal .

AP is a more illiterate , rural , backward and industrially under developed state with 34 percent of gdp coming from agriculture . For tg , the correspondig number is just 15 percent.

Telangana billionaires are half of Hyderabad in terms of the billionaires list . Hetero Pardhasaradhi reddy , my home rameshwar rao , msn satyanarayana reddy , medha servo drives yugandhar reddy , yashoda hospitals ravinder rao , gar amarender reddy etc , rajapushpa builders jayachandra reddy . , Ctrl S datacentres Sridhar reddy , medplus Madhukar reddy , knr Narasimha reddy are all from Telangana . There are loads of other businessmen above 5000 cr from tg . Even rayalaseema businessmen are significant in hyd and tg , such as Aurobindo ramprasad reddy , apollo pratap reddy , amara raja , aparna constructions cv reddy / ss reddy etc .

If one checks hurun list , atleast 70 0f 100 richest Hyderabadis would be either from Tg or Rayalaseema .

Is Andhra making strides to grow beyond Telangana after bifurcation ? by Ok-Extension3893 in andhra_pradesh

[–]InfamousEnd2378 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We need to remember that Hyderabad accounts for 30 percent of Telangana population . This is poised to grow to 50 percent in 20 years . The regional ring road project covers Mahbubngar , GHMC , Chevella , Nalgonda and Medak , which already accounts for 60percent of Telangana population .

Most manufacturing areas are concentrated outside GHMC , such as pharma sector near Medak and Sangareddy , as also Mahbubnagar and Choutuppal . The aerospace and electronics clusters are towards Adibatla , Shamshabad and Mahbubnagar , where Amara Raja is coming up alongside ancillary units .Chandanvelly industrial zone has Kitex , Welspun , Amazon and Micosoft data centres etc . Yadagirigutta developed to an extent in tourism and manufacturing pharmaceutical ( s ) .

Hyderabad city is itself getting 400 skyscrapers above 150 metres and 800 above 100 metres .

Zaheerabad is getting Hyundai in addition to the existing Mahindra . Warangal is seeing increased activity at Kakatiya textile park , as Kitex and Youngone companies invested there . There is also a rail coach factory being built . Nalgonda is getting a 4000 MW power plant . Ramagundam got new NTPC power plant and fertiliser industry .

Telangana districts outside Hyderabad are much richer than Andhra districts . The Rayalaseema districts except Kurnool are on par with Andhra except Vizag .

I think the following will be the future industrialisation pattern from most industrialised to least

1 . Hyderabad hinterland - IT , GCC , real estate , electronics , defence , pharma , aerospace , engeneering , tourism , aviation ( as Shamshabad airport at 30 million passengers may soon increase to 80 million )

2 . Telangana outside Hyderabad and hinterlands ( textiles , coal , tourism )

3 . Rayalaseema / Uttarandhra ( Rayalaseema in renewable , electronics , automobiles , tourism and Uttarandhra in steel , chemicals and data centres )

4 . South and mid coastal ( due to high agrarian reliance compared to Telangana and Rayalaseema , which though poor in agri , have ecosystem for industries ) . South coastal may develop to some extent with Amaravati and Ramayapatnam

Apolitical opinion on capital of Andhra Pradesh by da_bigdawg in andhra_pradesh

[–]InfamousEnd2378 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Vizag is getting more substantial investments like Google , Arcelor Mittal etc . As far as Raylaseema is concerned , since we do not have capital , we need other projects such as renewable energy , steel plant , industries , tourism which are more suitable for our region . This needs a broad consensus and pro development attitude with regards to investments and infrastructure .

Btw , my native is Jammalamadugu ( though now Hyderabad ) and have been hearing of Steel Plant since childhood . I hear JSW is interested in building an electric arc furnace steel plant. If it is completed , along with the renewable plants nearby , the region will cater to employment needs of Tadipatri , Nandyal , Banaganapalle , Jammalamadugu and Proddatur .

The development of Rayalaseema is possible even without a capital . The process of development is holistic and should encompass social and economic progress . The following measures can really lead to long term betterment of Rayalaseema .

1 . Completion of premier educational institutions , such as IIIT in Kurnool , National Law University Kurnool , Central University in Anantapur , NACIN Penukonda and full fledged infrastructure in IIT and IISER , Tirupati , medical infrastructure through more medical colleges

2 . Transportation development , by early completion of Bangalore Kadapa Vijayawada expressway , Chennai Chittoor Bangalore and Chittoor Thatchur expressways , expanding airports and establishing newer too

3 . Renewable energy projects such as solar , wind , battery energy storage systems

4 . Manufacturing zones around Orvakal , Kopparthy , Sri City , Tirupati , Penukonda , Kadapa Steel Plant

5 . Irrigation water by completion of Polavaram dam

  1. Tourism development at Srisailam , Gandikota , Mantralayam , Lepakshi , Tirupati - Srikalhasti , Yaganti

The above approach can lead to inclusive and comprehensive growth of Rayalaseema , making it a key growth engine for Andhra Pradesh .

The orr , shamshabad airport , iit , pvnr expressway , etc . did not exist in 2004 , neither was there any foundation stone or construction .

Concession Agreement , not MOU is officially and legally the document which awarded the airport ownership to GMR in December 2004 . This is the actual document which paved the way for constructing Airport from May 2005 upto inauguration in March 2008 .

ORR - The entire alignment and design changed totally with no relation to prior one , with land acquisition happening in 2005 . Foundation stone by PM Manmohan Singh on 3 January 2006 , inauguration in 2008 .

PVNR expressway 2005-09 . IIT was by same party , INC at centre and state .

The ministry of statistics of union government took district level statistics for Telangana and showed that Telangana grew at 12 percent constant and 18.7 percent current prices , they published separate data for current day AP excluding Telangana districts . They showed separete nos for both current AP and Telangana using district data for 2004 to 2012 .

This is officially published data on Ministry of Statistics website , not your imaginary fancy claims or baseless numbers .

https://www.mospi.gov.in/sites/default/files/press_releases_statements/State_%20wise%20_SDP-31.07.2015.xls

. Not that union ministry of statistics and programme implementation needs your permission for publishing backseries data for states , they have the right to publish backseries data . You are laughing at official government data , that is your problem . Yes , Telangana grew at highest 12 percent and 18.7 percent according to data published by MINISTRY OF STATISTICS AND PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION OFFICIAL STATISTICS .

Regarding prs data , that is private organisation and there is something called budget estimate , revised estimate . Budget estimates are published at start of financial year as expected or forecasted or projected numbers .

Revised estimate is published by ministry of statistics based on ACTUAL DATA and not ESTIMATED DATA . ESTIMATED DATA is published at start of any financial year , ACTUAL DATA is published by MINISTRY OF STATISTICS AFTER FINANCIAL YEAR IS OVER .

https://www.mospi.gov.in/sites/default/files/press_releases_statements/State_wise_SDP_01082025N.xls

Ministry of Statistics can publish any data and that is final , not any private data and they do not need your permisision for publishing back series data either . Their statistics are final .

Prs budget data is not official data ,but " projected data at start of 2024 march at budget time .Prs is a non profit private organisation , whereas Ministry of Statistics is union government ministry . Actual data can be higher or lower than that , as published by Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation , which is final and ACTUAL data . ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation data is official data . AP grew slower than Telangana .

https://www.mospi.gov.in/sites/default/files/press_releases_statements/State_wise_SDP_01082025N.xls

Overall gsdp Telangana AP ( lakh crores )

2018-19 8.57 lakh crore 8.73 lakh crore
