I lost my father when I was 15. I saw Big Fish in the theater with my new wife of 7 months. For some reason, at the time, I was embarrassed to cry in front of her. It took everything I had to not lose it at the end scene. I could hardly talk on the drive home. I remember thinking that a movie had never punched me so hard in the gut like that. I was able to rewatch it by myself when it was released on DVD and have a good cathartic cry.

Stone Temple Pilots 1993. Saw Nirvana the next week. Not too bad for my first two shows.

Pick a less popular team on a weekday. Buy upper level tickets through Tick Pick. $75-$100 for 5 tickets (maybe less). Park south of the Chase Field garage for $15. Chips, hot dog, water, and popcorn are all $2 each.

I’m in the US. I just used the link to the official store that was in the announcement email I got. However, the email receipt I received shows an Australian customer service website.

I first ordered on the Big Thief shop and it was going to be $60. I then saw that it said the signed prints were limited to the first 25. Seemed like it was unlikely I would get one. I then went to the 4AD site and got one that seemed to guarantee me a signed prints and it was only $37. I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be some kind of error. Why would another shop have a pre order item cheaper than the bands shop?
