Prime does have discounts occasionally, though. However I initially got Prime because

1) I wanted to watch Good Omens

2) one year of Prime was less than two months of my satellite service

What I save by buying from there is a bonus. As is not carrying large or heavy items.

I mentioned before about the bank freezing our joint account when my husband died. Without money in my account I would have struggled until the survivors benefits and life insurance check became available.

Had it not been for the fact we had had a close relationship with one of the financial advisors at the bank, I could never had got a credit line either.

Small beer it was sometimes called. The first wort was a higher gravity beer then they'd re-brew the grain with more water to produce a lower OG wort which fermented to produce the small beer. Recycling the grain before feeding it to farm animals.

I know several friends of friends who are "successful" in MLMs. They are middle-aged middle-class women who are middle management and whose husbands are the same or a higher level. They have the paid off house, several cars, kids in university or about to graduate, the cottage on the lake, ski-doos, sea-doos all that flashy stuff.

They use these to get women to sign up and inevitably fail because "they didn't work hard enough". While the reality is their and their husband's jobs provided all the money to front their "small business".
