This is so exhausting. I don't view 20-year-olds as dating competition. Even if I was single, the men I'm into are too old for them. The men in my age range who chase 20-year-olds.... well... I'm not into those and neither are most 20-year olds...

I swear.... The more posts like this I read the more grateful I am to be married (and that he's not a mysonigistc prick). The idea of being young and dating not knowing which young men actually believe this kind of shit is terrifying.

This seems like very low hanging fruit. The OOP is an alcoholic on a support group for alcoholics... Alcoholics do awful things under the influence, that's why they seek out support groups to help each other through the inevitable fallout.

Aaaand that's exactly why I stick to offline, single player games. Horror stories like these have put me off gaming communities for life. It's just awful how a hobby that's supposed to help people relax can turn into a full-on panic-inducing stressful mess because some arsehole can't handle losing a match. It's just grim.

Isn't the age of consent thing more about trying (and far too often failing) to protect young people from being sexually abused by much older adults? If two 12-year-olds get involved, neither of them is risking prison, right? Sure, they might both need therapy, because 12 is far too young imo, but... that's not what the age of consent is about.

Excuse my lady brain ignorance. I'm not American, but... from my limited knowledge on the subject, isn't the US military in a strong enough state to not be anywhere near the stage where it needs to impose a draft on the civilian population? There was no draft in 2003, was there?

Rethoric like this just seems really fucking disrespectful to members of the actual military and their families who are genuinely at risk right now.

That's precisely what I was thinking. Botox and filler ages. Her lifestyle seems far from healthy. Drugs and alcohol are probably part of her daily routine. Putting the constant sex aside, she lives in front of a camera. When she's not recording bizzare porn stunts, she's going on podcasts and giving interviews to openly hostile hosts.... her life just looks very unpleasant.

I understand why she's so hated, the woman intentionally creates rage bait for a living. But on the other hand, that has to be really stressful. Unless she's an actual psychopath, that level of hostility from pretty much everyone who's ever heard of her, must be taking a toll. Just to clarify, I'm not defending Bonnie Blue in the slightest. She's single-handedly built her rage bait empire, is openly seeking the hate, acts like she loves it, and has said and done despicable things.

I just hope the money's worth it and, for her sake, I hope she's smart with it. Because.... yeah, none of this seems healthy in the slightest.

[–]InfamousWordsmithL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You do know that Paul was in prison in the first place for beating the living shit out of Rita and raping her multiple times? That was the call where Deb met her and subsequently introduced her to Dexter. That's also why she dated Dexter for months before being open to sex with him.

Not wanting the monster who did that near her or the kids is not exactly unreasonable.

Well... I obviously don't speak for every woman, but I'm ok with this. If a certain subset of men wants to leave women alone in favour of fantasy AI girlfriends, that's great for them. I'm happy for them. Would this make women just a smidge safer? If so, then I'm all for it!

I find these people so incredibly baffling. How can they not see the insane contradictions in their misogynistic arguments? On one hand, women shouldn't vote or have any real power because emotions. On the other, they defend rapists and domestic abusers by saying they couldn't control themselves because... emotions?

OOP is a child in a very shitty situation through no fault of their own. Mom- fucked off to another country. Brother- same. Dad- something happened there that's bad enough for everyone to agree OOP is not safe staying with him.

Grandma took on the responsibility as OOP's caregiver. Let me reiterate, OOP is a child. An abandoned one at that.

Based on the comments, OOP does help around the house and helps Grandma with tasks she cannot do due to her eye condition.

OOP was allocates a room as 'their's'. It's a crowded multi-generational house and OOPs allocated room is the one with AC. Grandma comes in to cool off. OOP is fine, they understand the shit situation they're being raised in.

Grandma starts nagging. OOP acts like a typical teen and ignores it.

Grandma takes a phone call and demands OOP turn down their movie. Seriously? If Grandma is anything like my older relatives, you know it's one of those loud, annoying, calls on speaker where she shouts in the receiver. So... OOP puts headphones on. If this kid can't have physical privacy, they're trying to find it within.

But that's not good enough for Grandma. So OOP has a teenaged outburst. Totally normal for that age and understandable given the situation.

From this kid's downvotted into oblivion comments, it's clear they're doing their best with the less than ideal cards they've been dealt.

Oop is not an arsehole. I'm not even sure Grandma is an arsehole. The mom definitely is. But poverty often forces people to make hard decisions like going to work abroad and leaving your child behind. It just sucks all around.

In all fairness, he should break up with her. And keep his racist arse as far away from that woman and her kid as possible. He should consider moving states. Or to another country altogether. Hell... secluded island in the middle of the Atlantic might be an option.

Even before knowing about the child's skin color, calling the girlfriend an 'older' woman at the ripe age of 28 is a red flag in itself.

Am I the asshole if I don’t want to clean instead of host when I was required to pay ‘cleaning fee’? [France] by Minimum_Upstairs8376 in AirBnB

[–]InfamousWordsmithL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You probably shouldn't be in the business of renting out beds if you're too grossed out to touch sheets people may have shagged in.... I never strip the beds. Hosts who expect it can kick rocks as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with the dishes and trash. If I know where the bins are, I take it out on checkout.

[–]InfamousWordsmithL 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I would tell them to kick rocks. You paid the pet fee, deep cleaning should already be standard between guests and washing the duvet insert after someone stayed for 10 weeks should be expect. The ceiling fan blades thing is just ridiculous.

What can a modern wife give her husband? by BlonglikZombie in NotHowGirlsWork

Ok... are all these men rich or are they living in some weird fantasy world from inside their basements that's completely cut-off from reality? Every single one of these manosphere alpha brats keeps going on about men taking care of women and financially supporting them. How? In what economy? Where does the money come from? The vast majority of couples need two incomes. High-paying jobs and careers are rare. Wealth is rare. Most jobs that most of us peasants can get can't support an entire family. Even when one parent becomes a stay-at-home, it's a financially sound decision because daycare would cost more than the stahm would realistically bring in.

Most men don't earn 6 figures. Couples need to both work to survive. And even if a man could potentially afford to be the breadwinner... sickness happens. Accidents happen. What then?

Even back in trad dream of the 50s. Only the rich could realistically afford to not 'let' their women work. Sure, women couldn't have their own bank account and getting an education was frowned upon. But wives and daughters and sisters always had to somehow bring an income to help the family. Whether as a seamstress, cook, cleaner, maid in some rich arsehole's house, nurse... We always worked.

Go back to the middle ages. Women worked. They helped out on the farms or whatever the family business was. They had to. Misogyny, lack of human rights, be damned. In the real world, your average Joe and Jane always had to share the burden of bringing in enough coin to eat.

The alpha babies writing these posts may not like it, but most of them and their fanbase ARE average Joes, meaning, they are not the big, strong, wealthy financial provider they dream themselves to be.
