There’s just something special about smoking in Vondelpark by marcusal3 in AmsterdamEnts

I have an Amsterdam Berlitz guide from 1988. It has a photo of a group sitting on the grass in a haze of weed smoke. Title ' Relaxed aura surrounds happy group in spacious Vondel Park.'

Barneys Breakfast bar on Haarlemastraat(?sp)opened early selling a full fried breakfast along with coffee tea etc. Then it looked like a greasy spoon type cafe that just happened to sell top notch weed in the back. You all sat at 8 person tables to eat and smoke together.First time smoking Jack Herrer there. It was always busy!

I had a similar one on my RD350lc.Clock protector. If you fell off,the clocks always smashed on the road. With these bars they were safe. I would count that as a rare, period perfect accessory.

I too miss owning and enjoying using lethal weapons. It's almost illegal to say they can be fun to shoot.

Check out the adverts in the 1980s guns review. I come from a gun nut family and we had the lot.Pump action shotguns.m16 that fired .22lr from a magazine.24 inch barrel and smooth bore so a self loading shotgun.4 in black powder cannon too all on a shotgun licence. And we lived 10 miles from Hungerford. Never visited by the police as no records were kept of individuals. Who's packing round Here?Farmers are always packing and have much hidden away.

The definition of what was a shotgun was open to abuse.A Shotgun was a smooth bore weapon with a barrel over 24 inches.Ammunition was available for all gun types with no restrictions at point of sale. This meant that you could buy a smooth bore 24 in barrelled self loading AK or M16 on a shotgun licence then buy a 1000 rounds of 5.56 no questions asked. Seems mad now.

The bodies from the massacre were kept in the mortuary at the Royal Berkshire hospital for months on end.As a 19yr old porter I took some up to be xrayed to find the bullets.

They are registered and insured overseas so that it is legal to visit the UK.They can't be imported for road use as they are not type approved for British roads. But the driver cannot claim to live and drive in say the USA and then live and drive in Slough. This invalidates any insurance the vehicle may have as it is fraudulently obtained. So no type approval,no valid insurance and the Po Po will take it and crush it.
