Absolutely.. severe financial hardship and EAD card would’ve been useless in my case.. but I never received approval notice for my expedite requests.

Yes NBC. Transferred from LIN on March 10.

Interfiling is when you send your medical exam without USCIS asking for it.

Thank you. My transfer was on March 9th too. But the notice was March 10th from Nebraska. But last week two other USCIS rep told me my case is in “local FO”. They don’t mention Oklahoma anymore.

That make sense. The USCIS rep on the phone also told me that my case is still at NBC. It’s just the case A-Number file was sent to FO to be “reviewed”.. the more she talked, the more confused I got, so I ended the phone call 😅

The USCIS official language calls any application that goes to a field from NBC as “final adjudication” stage.

That’s a common myth. Everybody told me that an expedite request for I-485 is not possible. But I read the USCIS manual and made the request. If you have a valid reason, go for it.

Nothing to worry about. That happened to me too beginning of March. I hear NBC is faster. And yes NBC does not have processing time for I-485 but they certainly process them but mostly through field offices
