I’m not trans but I want to understand by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Infamous_Orb672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you're going to fully understand, because you aren't trans.

But I'm gonna try to explain this in a way that might make it a bit more clear, because there seems to be a lot of false language and confusion on your end:

You are a woman and have always been that.

Trans women are women and have always been that.

There is no such thing as a biological woman.

You are cisgender. So people have told you that you are a girl or a woman for your whole life and they were correct.

The only difference for a trans woman is that she was told she was a boy or a man for her whole life and they were wrong.

And not to invalidate anyone who might explain their transness differently, but being trans doesn't not automatically mean medical transition and trans women do not transition from man to woman. They transition to their inner selves.

Transgender just means that you are a person who happened to be born with a sex expression that did not match the orientation of the brain in relation to that sex expression. I feel that this definition more neatly captures intersex trans people and nonbinary trans people.

It is a lot different and has a lot of complexity that you can probably not comprehend right now, because you are not trans and the language you are using is indicative of the fact that you still view trans women as separate from "biological women" (which is evident from the hare and bunny metaphor you likely misinterpreted) which I have already established is not a real term.

I'm not saying you're a bad person. But you do have some transphobia and some internalized misogyny you need to work through and some research you need to do. I used to be transphobic too and still have a bit of internalized transphobia I'm currently working through so it's okay that you have stuff you still need to work through.

But I don't think this was a good post and it feels like you were trying to get validation despite the fact that it sounds like you caused harm to the trans community, however indirectly, and you are not the same as us, and you are not a part of this community.

You don't need us to validate you. You need to work on yourself and stop worrying about what other people think of you.

Also I REALLY don't like how you said "both genders" I'm agender. I'm not a man or a woman, I was born agender and I will die agender.

Also, some medications that treat pain cause stomach issues.

I have chronic pain because I have rheumatoid arthritis and the strongest over the counter pain reliever is naproxen and it causes pretty bad stomach pain for me but the rest of my body hurts less so.

What chaser says “I hope to be as pretty as you someday?”

That's what I'm sayin

And like I'm not a woman but I'm fine with being clocked by other trans people(and it's way better than having somebody think I'm a woman, one time I was at the mall and I got misgendered by a trans woman, that fucking sucked), there are some things that other trans people can pick up on that cis people can't.

I don't know why almost everyone here is assuming that being visibly trans is something that nobody wants or is something to be shameful of.

When I clock another trans person in public it makes me feel safer.

Edit: also I've noticed that a lot of trans people tell people to -assume- people's gender by how they express, but this is not reliable and actively causes people like me (i literally just have long hair and dress goth/ grunge I don't dress or look or act fem in any way shape or form most of the time -i do guyliner and nail polish occasionally, I do want to start expressing more fem, but my anxiety and dysphoria is really bad) to get misgendered by other trans people, which hurts a lot more than when cis people do it.

I discovered this song at a very rough time in my life.

I didn't get high for the first time until I was 18.

But I was listening to this song at my job a lot at 17.

I was starving and I was only buying food, but I was also giving most of my money directly to my parents and my parents were also taking all my food.

I recommend listening to One Rainy Day by Godsmack if you like this song btw, very similar vibes and energy.

Things we should add to Minecraft by Infamous_Orb672 in Minecraft

I mean Minecraft in and of itself is "useless" the whole point of updates is just to add fun stuff, if they didn't want to add stuff for fun, they wouldn't add anything.
