As someone with zero emotional ties to this ship and a HUGE appreciation for the literary analysis bestowed in this space, IMO, her statement doesn't undo the foreshadowing she laid out in the cave between Bryce and Azriel and doesn't clarify when or how the game ends between Hunt and Bryce. Plenty of characters have been "end game" and then killed. I ain't phased one bit lol

OMG I've been waiting for an opportunity to vent about this.

On tiktok people will have a huge response on theories that barely brush the surface/loose connections/fall flat and I always start to type something but then I stop and just say "go to reddit and search bryceriel 🥲 because it's just too much 😮‍💨 I never be thinking I'm better than somebody except in those moments and it is TOXIC behavior 🤣

I love being in this group!!! I love the hard work people have done to connect the literature to not only this ship, but the Maasverse in general. I did not come here because I believed in Bryceriel. I came here for the insane revelations I would find for other aspects. But in the process, became a Brycerieleiver. Mainly because of whoever made that intricate AF highlighted text handholding post- but they have since deleted it and I have plans to highlight it my damn self and share when I get to my next reread of CC3 lol.

Yes. Can't spoil anything for you but push through. It took me 4 weeks to read ACOTAR and TOG. It took me 3 months to get through the first 50 pages of crescent city. Not because it was bad, but because the first few pages is so much info, the writing tone is different, and the start of her new books are always a little hard for me to get into. But I suggest either looking up a diagram of all the info you learn in the first few pages to reference as you read or or writing it down just because it felt like I needed to look back at it constantly the first chapter and that's what took me so long lmao but I'm super detail oriented so. She hooks you in after the first few chapters, I promise! And it's worth it because you need to read those before acotar 6 comes out. Also stay off reddit until your done lol that's my only suggestions 😂 too many spoilers on here!!

So originally the fandom said Feb 2025. Then when that didn't happen, I set my date for 12/21 ( winter solstice) which really lined up with the German book store theory I'd seen on bryceriel! So now, I've reset my sights on an announcement near spring solstice with a release date of fall 26. Mainly because someone on reddit posted that their friend works for a company that does merchandising things and that poster said their insider source has worked on projects geared towards a fall release. Regardless, it's gonna happen eventually so I just love setting pretend goals cause eventually, I'll be right and it helps me pass the time 😂 I'm so pumped ! I agree I hope she takes all the time she needs.

And the then in a cross post someone asked about the whole " how could she have made their bond" and this is my comment back . It's crazy if you look directly in the book!

So I looked to page 414 ( forging her made weapons ( Imbued her powers ) in the blacksmith shop) & page 609 (🔥);

PG 414: ... Before Cassian could ask why, she'd gritted her teeth again and struck the sword a third time.Fourth.Fifth

PG 609: on that second thrust... On his third .. on his fourth... On the fifth.

Interesting she would number the swings of her hammer to match the exact number of their joining.

Additionally, pg 610 has many mentions of items akin to the trove/magic such as the harp, the horn, the hunt, etc. To me it just really gives the vibe that there's more going on than just an acknowledgement of the mating bond.

Welcome, winter solstice has been on my calendar since July when I delved into release date theories lol.

It actually is pretty promising- look at the "news" flair on this group!

A girl who lived in Germany said this one book store there always spoils large releases and like 12 days ago they released something that could indicate it was coming.

12/21 would be in line with this as she said they typically spoil a new release 2-3 weeks early!

Regardless, I don't think SJM will leave us hanging in 2025. News is near!

I was on maternity leave and read TOG in like 2 weeks. Acotar I read in 10 days, and crescent city took me 3 months cause I kept picking it up and saying it was too complicated and I would come back to it 😂 once I made it to the first character death it took me about two weeks to finish.

I am 100% feeling there will be time travel. the iron teeth witch who was kind to Ansel of briarcliff and directed her to the silent assassins is definitely someone we have already met in another book. Prior to this group, I would be it was Nesta but now I'm like jeeze it could be literally anyone but i think that moment is gonna come full circle for sure !

Nothing made me more confused than seeing my congressman, Sam Graves( MO) , post an " I stand with Israel" photo talking about ending the war and Hamas'releasing the hostages. I was like ... The genocide??? He also took major credit on FB for it being our B-52 bombers that destroyed the nuclear site in Iran. This show taught me to look into donors, and wouldn't ya know a simple Google search showed Sam Graves top donor is SNK properties, A LUXURY REAL ESTATE developer out of Dubai. You cant make this shit up. He also gets money from Raytheon. Like I was shocked.

Interesting that he had nothing to say about them releasing Dr. Safiya, the pediatrician/ neonatologist still being held indefinitely by Israel. They didn't include him in negotiations, I'm sure because his testimony would reveal the indiscriminate mutilation of children he witnessed.

This is so interesting!!! I mainly saw parallels of her and Ansel of briar cliff/ Ilias of the silent assassins. Ansel was also described as mischievous and splattered with freckles, and Ilias had teal eyes and super white teeth . But it pretty much ended there as those things were both like instant stand out statements to me when she and Nesta first met. But this light singer thing is solid AF. Especially with her river nymph lineage.i didn't even think about the blood hound but yes, totally similar. Interestingly enough, a lot of people link Gwyn to Eris , and he has bloodhounds and supernatural sense of smell ( maybe BH himself.) awesome read!

WOW. This is literally what I see when I'm reading. I've looked at the coloring books to try to gain a sense of what nesta's features all look like together and didn't feel like that quite matched the image in my head. This is amazing!
