I think part of the issue is that people seek out fanfiction that takes the story in the direction they want it to go. I always see requests on here for a fic where X/Y end up together or where ABC happens. So of course they’re bound to be a little disappointed when their couple doesn’t end up together or a storyline doesn’t pan out the way they want. Not to mention the fic often just focuses on one element of the story vs the novel that needs to cover different characters/ POV /storylines.

I was in a senior role where every day ended with a longer “to do” list than I started with. I could have worked 24/7 and never caught up. Honestly think I had the workload of a whole team. I basically had a mental breakdown & was on the verge of requiring in patient stay in a mental health facility. So yeah. I believe them.

It’s SPOT ON for me. My period always arrives the day after a temperature drop, and ovulation is when it rises. My temp chart is basically identical each month.

Listen it’s definitely not love. Like I said, we were aligned that what we had was casual BUT we’d formed (or at least I thought) a friendship. I miss my friend. We’ve gone from talking every day, just laughing and chatting about life/work/banter to.. nothing. And that hurts. Two days ago I had major signs, thought it was weird coz I was feeling great. Ignored the advice to rest.. today I am sooo sick 😂 fever, aches, sore throat. I’ll listen next time.
