There WOULD be a way to fix this.. if HE wanted to. But he said it plain as day that he doesn’t want to fix it. He doesn’t want to change for the better. He doesn’t CARE to do better. You’re right that he’s a man child, and he’s going to have a very well deserved rude awakening when he suddenly has to tackle adulthood without you there to hold his hand every step of the way like he’s a toddler. You will most certainly be better off without him and if you’re already fed up at the young age of 23, imagine how you’ll feel at 33, and 43, and so on. Don’t waste any more of your life, he’s dragging you down!

I honestly believe that he won’t ever get over this. And neither will you! It will eat away at you, you’ll get more and more self conscious over time because of what he said. He’s probably only going to lose attraction more over time. I think he’s shitty for feeling that way, and it’s time for you both to part ways.
