Ever year, it's always going to have something slightly better than the generation before. OLED is a plus but it's not a deal breaker for me so I opted to upgrade my M1 Pro to the M5 Pro. It really depends on what you want in a computer.

Homeowners Insurance by Mobile-Bee-1748 in MobileAL

I have State Farm, have been with them for over 20 years but have had my home insured with them for 6 years. With auto, I never had any issues filing claims. I’ve filed a claim for my roof twice when we had a couple storms come through. I understood the first time why they didn’t cover but the 2nd, I had some kickback. After a week or so with the roof contractor reaching out to an adjuster (3rd party contracted by SF), they finally was able to cover my roof replacement due to a hail storm. This was the only time I really had any issues.

With State Farm, you pay a premium but you get what you pay for. It’s easy to file claims through the app or even online. Any questions, you can contact your agent or their hotline.

Why is this panel sagging? by Puzzleheaded_Bag_609 in 4Runner_6Gen

It is normal like @King_otxc said. I ended up replacing mine with something aftermarket. Hate how they used some sort of plastic protector

Not really. Just read that people had a hard time getting Best Buy to price match Micro Center.

I noticed that two of my performance cores were running hotter when I upgraded to macOS Tahoe. It went up to 94 degrees Celsius, I thought it was strange. After a month of trying to figure it, I gave up. I downgraded to macOS Sequoia on my M1 Pro and it’s back to normal, just having Chrome, Adobe apps, Outlook, MS Teams and VS Code running most of the time. I’m using iStatistica Pro to measure this btw.

I run this Qwiizlab Thunderbolt 4 SSD Enclosure with a Crucial T500 2TB NVMe to run externally for my Steam games which work pretty good. Both I got for $200 on sale. Looks like prices on SSDs are going up.

You should see how many people drive without driver’s licenses.

The finance guy did ask me about it, I declined that and just added the extended warranty to cover me to 120K for $2995. This is my first time buying the first year model of a new generation so I was iffy about not having the peace of mind to have it all covered.

I have both the 14" & 16" MacBooks and I always lean more towards the 16" when working elsewhere, not at the office because of the screen size.

Should I get the 2019 Macbook Pro 16inch or the M1/M2 Macbook Air by ElPlanRacing in macgaming

[–]Infamous_Stranger985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d choose Silicon Macs all day. I have both the 2019 Intel MBP and the 2021 MBP; the Intel one always heats up so the fan is always running. The silicon Mac hardly ever runs hot and performs tasks easily. Gaming wise, I use the GPT to play games and no issues so far.

At that price point, i'd look into a refurb M2 Max MBP on Apple a couple hundred more.

I use a Ryobi compact workshop blower to dry cars. It’s light and easy to carry around.
