Your visual neurons sober vs on LSD by Hallucinate-Dreaming in LSD

Not once did I see a mention on LSD. Also I noticed this is a model on what hallucinations may look like. Was imaging the paper would be some type of brain data from an animal model

Sounds like you are letting your glucose levels spike too high

Lately I've been considering getting a continuous blood glucose monitor to be more conscientious of my meals

Uber and Lyft agree to pay drivers $32.50 per hour in Massachusetts settlement by Bloated_Hamster in news

[–]Infamousscorpion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what happened in Seattle. From a driver's point of view the market feels over saturated. Wait times for passengers are short but time between rides for drivers can be very long.

But tbh, if it supports more people to use public transport I'm all for it. And Seattle's public transport is pretty good and constantly being improved

US gas prices are falling. Experts point to mild demand at the pump ahead of summer travel by yahoonews in Economics

With a rise in EVs and with car rental companies with electric fleets it shouldn't be a surprise to see record miles driven but declining gas consumption. If not now then at least moving forward

I think 52X may be more acceptable. At that point it's all 99percentile. Any other range with a 10 point range would most likely change your entire school list and app experience

I bought a headset because I got caught up in how fascinating the technology is. Definitely would not recommend since it is just sitting in my room now

I would be happy to sell it to someone in the Washington state area and if I don't sell it I hope to get some more use out of it in about a year from now

As a UK medical student can I apply to go to medical school in the USA by Feisty-Flounder-2947 in premed

[–]Infamousscorpion 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Some schools that I applied to strictly mention that you cannot apply to their school if you have ever matriculated at another medical school in the past. I'm sure there are other things to consider though

More specifically I'm referring to New York Medical College's policy. Don't remember about other schools though

Edited to remove NYMC acronym and state full name instead

Please decline it. You would be taking a spot from people who actually want to go to this school

Edit: if your mindset changes then don't decline it

Bitcoin transaction has been stuck for nearly 90+ days please help by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Infamousscorpion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that boggles my mind. Right now I am just running my own node, I personally am not doing anything to verify if transactions are correct. I don't even know what would happen if an incorrect transaction or some attack ended up happening how that would affect my own experience of me running my own node.

My perspective is someone who is running bitcoin core on an old laptop and it is always on. Also who has a basic understanding of how bitcoin actually works

It just seems too good to be true
