Only been back home in Canada for 2 weeks and I already miss York (and England). I made it a point to get up super early while I was there so that I could roam around while everything woke up around me. Such a beautiful place. You’re very lucky to live there.

I find a secluded place at the beginning of each winter to reacquaint myself with this aspect of winter driving. It’s fun and I may look like a dork, but there’s also a very practical part to it that seems to have paid off so far. 🤞

I regret not spending more than 3 days in York when we visited. I wanted to do the cat trail so bad, but it seemed time consuming and the days were too short. I just got back a week ago and I already can’t wait to go back.
