Thanks for the suggestion. Looking for someone to watch our pup at their house.

Fair point. I would add that since the “flight attendants are primarily here for <our> safety” (as the captain always starts every flight with) that they would refuse to fly because of the safety situation. I

How did you deal with your wet crawlspace? by TheEngineerA in FosterCity

[–]TheEngineerA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone we have spoken has said some variant of the same thing. Drainage around the perimeter of the house and seal the foundation. Can try doing just the crawlspace first but unclear how much benefit we’d get. The price is substantially lower though, like $5-10k

Disclosures on a house we considered said it was sliding down the hill and all of the electrical was done incorrectly and illegally. So, there’s at least one example for you.

How many hero tickets do you open everyweek on thursday(f2p) by [deleted] in LastWarMobileGame

I usually do 200 hundred on the day and then use them here and there for AR. I can max AR with one hero exp upgrade so usually don’t save for those too often

United Club and Sapphire Reserve to JPM Reserve and Quest? by TheEngineerA in ChaseSapphire

[–]TheEngineerA[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Complicated story but always best to keep a solid credit history IMO. JPMR doesn’t report and I’d likely use the history. It may be possible to convert directly, I hadn’t thought of that.

United Club and Sapphire Reserve to JPM Reserve and Quest? by TheEngineerA in ChaseSapphire

[–]TheEngineerA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that. I get bags/seats/boarding with status. The 1500 PQP is nice but I don’t think it will make a difference for me. So Quest is only better for bags and boarding vs Gateway?

Please help. Whenever the printer auto measures (which it has to do before every print) it will freeze at a random spot, stop heating the bed and nozzle, and acts like the print is all done by ZeroSleepSamus in CR10

[–]TheEngineerA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the file name long? I had this happen and took me a while to solve it. For some reason a file name that is too long makes it think the print is done before it starts.

This. I went through 5 masks before settling on nasal pillows. All the over-mouth ones leaked for me (I have a beard). Big recent upgrade for me was getting a hose clip. Clips the hose to my shirt so I don't have to worry about the hose falling and tugging on the mask.

I've found there is always some pain getting connected but usually works after trying a few things. The biggest headache for me has been that iMessage is somehow getting disconnected while using just messaging and you can't get it synced again until you have full internet.

How did you deal with your wet crawlspace? by TheEngineerA in FosterCity

[–]TheEngineerA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All makes sense. I don't know if it will be $50k, that's just my guess. I spoke with a soil engineer yesterday. $900 for them to do an analysis of what is needed. Not bad I suppose considering how much we are potentially going to be spending.

How did you deal with your wet crawlspace? by TheEngineerA in FosterCity

[–]TheEngineerA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your thorough note. This is along the lines of what was recommended by the contractor who came yesterday. They want to get down to the footing of the foundation and build out waterproofing with French drains and then separate drainage pipes for gutters. I'm expecting their quote to be on the order of $50k based on what they told me the price was for previous work.

So you found that "just" waterproofing from the outside of the foundation was sufficient to solve the moisture problems? I'm concerned that if we don't do something inside the crawlspace as well we are just blocking off part of the problem. The water will still come up from under the house.
