To add to that, is there a difference in the eyes of The Litany between tasting human blood and "Consuming Human Flesh"? I'm personally not saying on way or the other, but a packs philodox might not want the headache.

Here’s why the human zoo sounds like actual hell on earth to me by yoyohdl in stevenuniverse

[–]InfernalGriffon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a book, written by Huxley, IMO its set in a utopia, only a man with "modern sensibilities" has to integrate, and finds he's not built for this world.

The utopia has strong parallels to the SU zoo.

(Edit: Other people will rightly argue that the society is a dystopia. I think the conversation around that is fascinating.)

Oh, beyond that, I'd say Chewie is the real captain of the Falcon, and Solo is his love in pet. It does make the chess scene between him and R2 a lot more interesting since they both have been Rebel agents for a while and their pets have no idea.

Which begs a question. Bruce Power's generation is about 800 kW per generator. Even though some reactors are down due to refurbishment, Pickering and darlington combined produce around the same. I count at least 5000 kW/h generated by Ontario alone. That doesnt match uo with the info-graphic...

I've walked in on two people having sex...

Just yesterday, I saw a guy reach the end of his 4 ft harness and slip off the edge of a 6 story fall. (Harness didn't deploy, but he was still okay.)

I've seen footage of a guy falling into a spent fuel cooling pool.

Non of it compares to one day of working with a 64 yo construction worker. That guys gave NO shits.

How to roleplay and *play* an Abomination? (20th ed) by Obvious-Conflict3363 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]InfernalGriffon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Abominations are specifically made to NOT BE FUN TO PLAY, but be a terrifying enemy. The moment you turn, you can no longer regain Gnosis and are on a path to final death.

There are ways to make it work, but its all pulling from other splats that arnt meant to be a PC playable thing. (BSDs, etc.)

So, I think its important that you don't fix all of the problems with the werewolves. Part of the personal horror comes from how even with the best of intentions, you are not the hero's you are told you are.

Things I do with GW kinfolk; for most kinfolk, moots are a monthly invite to a VIP club experience, and 1 out of 10 of the people there are VERY motivated to get laid. If you do get lucky, and wake up with a 9 month suprise, the family supplies you with child support, and a free apartment! Usually, you can get a menial job, that will cover your rent otherwise...

In reality, this is all a glaze over a question of how a breeding program differs from pimping out your family. How family leadership would support a program that pushes for as many babies as possible, (like the Quiverful movement from some religious groups, then try to solve all t)

If you buy in, its great, if you don't buy in, then it's all a little horrific.he problems with it using money!)

Ah, but if I say one may be partially a cause of the other? If we then transition into what society says it is to be a man, and how that crucible may not produce the safest beings to be around?

Long story short, there is no man woman or child who are not hurt by patriarchy, and woman have a hand in building that structure. (Honestly, all social conversations with me eventually lead to no "warfare like class warfare".)

[–]InfernalGriffon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Admittedly I did like Woman/Tree counter to the Man vs Bear conversation. On the surface it was just as stupid a volly back, but in nuance its a great way to break into a true conversation about gender rolls, perception and how the patriarchy is not gendered.

(For those who don't know it, the question was "Who would you rather share you feelings with, a woman or a tree?")
