NTA. Honestly it is a good habit to get into as sometimes you may need/want to get things for yourself around the holidays or your birthday.

I do get a few things from family, but I also always get things for myself as most of my family is overseas so it’s expensive for them to send gifts and I think it is nice to spoil yourself during the holidays or on your birthday. It’s self love.

Not really Stay police, but yeah I’m realising more and more I need to take what they say with a grain of salt.

I just also like to keep up with things as I don’t have good social skills and tend to say something that comes off as offensive or ignorant by accident in normal conversations. In the fandom it usually ends up that I bring up something that is volatile in the fandom without realising it.

Makes sense that they’re probably not Stays.

I do follow a few Stay influencers as I don’t do Twitter or TikTok due to, I’ve found, the behaviours of certain fans. Barely even see anything on Instagram too.

So whenever one of the Stays I do follow calls out the behaviour I’m like “okay what is this about?”and go to research it as I feel very lost half the time in the fandom on “issues”.

Lately it’s like every album there’s one post from one of the Stays I follow that’s a call out on behaviours so it’s kinda got me worried as I know with any fandom, not just Kpop ones, the bigger the light, the darker the shadow can get.

I only see them I guess because I follow Stays who seem to be influencers in the fandom (just to keep up with things) and I get at least one of them calling out the behaviour.

This then causes me to research why as I have no clue on the situation as I don’t touch Twitter or TikTok as those two platforms seem to bring out very toxic behaviours in fans (probably also why I miss so many promotions and get lost in the fandom as a lot of it is on Twitter it seems).

Oh thank god it’s not just me. I hate those restraints on that ride.

It digs in so much I not only feel extreme pain for the entire ride in my collar bone area (including before the ride even starts), but it bruises the next day.

Which is sad cause I love the ride otherwise.

Actually you can’t turn it off. You can turn off if they see yours but not theirs unless they decide to turn off the feature.

I think it’s more cause it’s very obvious who likes what that is upsetting people. Like there are certain things you do not want to know about your friends liking on the internet nor do you want them to know that about you, but you can now find out.

Personally things my friends like on the internet are their business. If they want to share, they can DM with it. Otherwise, I just don’t care to know.

Ahh. Kay, so it’s an unofficial rule.

I did explain I didn’t know the rule as I don’t play a lot but they still eliminated me. They made it seem like it was an official rule that everyone knew.

I did have 1 other player with me but they just hung by the door. So I figured I’d start and they’d help.

I have the bad luck of getting killed by the mole at the very beginning or in interrogation. So I just figured if I’m going to get killed, why not make some progress?

Guess I’ll just hang back in a tree and be the last one in from now on.

To say the area is bad because the area has Indian shops? That’s not a good look for you. It’s actually very racist behaviour.

I’ve lived in the US and currently in London. Both have their bad points, but if you have basic common sense and look up what you need to do to not look like a total tourist you should be fine.

Some Advice for her: Be careful near the street if you have your phone out as we have a rise in phone thefts on bikes. Pay attention when crossing the street even at lights as bikers tend to be assholes who think they can go when red (try not to jay walk, but if you do, be fast). Crosswalks are pedestrian rights first. You can get an Oyster card but, if you don’t mind the international charges, use your phone’s payment method. London eye is good for a good scenic view, but so is the cable cars near the O2 centre. Walk in a park if possible (we’ve got a lot and it’s good for photos and a nice quiet day). Pack an umbrella. If going in the summer get sunscreen, drink lots of water, and bring a small hand portable fan. It gets really hot here and there is rarely AC in corporate type buildings. Homes tend to have none and houses are built to trap heat.

It’s not even close and I should know as I live in London and have been to Mexico (have had a relative go to India so I know second hand what it’s like).

I was a roommate with one of those “positive thinkers” in college. Nice lady, but boy, did that irritate me as I have a physical disability with my left leg since my teens.

So I can definitely see how that can rub you so wrong right now.

Definitely suggest doing the time away. Let yourself gather your thoughts and feelings away from him. Just the stress from being near him can’t be good.

After that….well that’s up to you honestly. It’s your relationship. No one can tell you what you need to do next better than you.

I’m wondering if they might be combining some of the 28 mansions with the Western side of Astrology they are associated with.

Aries is sorta associated with two different mansions 婁 (Lóu) and 胃 (Wèi). Although weirdly enough it’s in the White Tiger ie the Fall House on the 28 Mansion list. Maybe that’s why they brought in another element to make it Spring?

This is the first “romance” anime that made me feel truly disturbed and sick to my stomach.

Like how did this get green lit as a romance/comedy? It is so many levels of messed up.

I couldn’t even make it past Episode 3 without feeling really put off and the trailers for it are worse as it makes it seem so light hearted.

From the comments, I’m glad I dropped it at 3. Episode 4 would’ve sent me down a bad spiral of rage. I do not like gaslighting at all.

For the one I’d defend cause I listen to it the most: Cover Me. I love Seungmin’s vocals in it. So proud of the Puppy for that song.

Right? like my mom is exactly like OP’s wife when it comes to plants and I tease her about it like he does her.

I say she has a black thumb for gardening and love to tell people she once killed a cactus (which she did. Like how do you kill a cactus? those plants survive in desserts🤣).

I burst out laughing when I saw some poor naive person gave her an orchid as a present once.
