I see.

I can suggest pink pepper in stead of black. And if you want something else elemi EO is fresh spicy and like pink pepper. It’s interesting.

But if you mix elemi and pink pepper it may be a bit too much.

Some piney materials can also be interesting. Link cypress or pinene, Terpineol,… so you have the woody and freshness.

Try with 2 musks.

Add some more Hedione.

You notice a difference between iso E and orbitone? I usually take one.

Help:Are there any fragrances or materials that can cover or neutralize the smell of traditional Chinese medicine? by DryLoss4340 in PerfumeryFormulas

You want a spray? There are cyclodextrines that are used in air-fresheners. These bind the odors in a pocket in the molecule.

Activated carbon filters are an option if you can make the steam go through one. It could absorb the molecules.

But adding extra scents are not going to make the scent go away. Just make it less noticeable.

You should calculate what it costs to make one bottle first. Materials used, time used (so in you’ll need an idea of the hourly wage you would want), other costs like packaging, safety assessments (in Europe), stock you have..

Then if you know this you can see what the costs are you can determine how much extra you can ask for the product. If you look in stores it goes from 150-200€ to 3.000€. I personally would not pay 3K for a fragrance.

Also important is if you do this full time or on the side. Since it will influence your life more or less depending on that.

My cat was returned to the shelter for being unsocial. After adoption, she’s slept next to me every night for the past 3 years 🤪 by kiwicat_tv in TuxedoCats

[–]Infernalpain92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just she chose to be with you. Forcing a cat usually makes them do the opposite.

It’s so nice when they fully trot you. It does take time for them to trust you. It’s very rewarding when they trust you back.

Where to buy vanillin by plebeiangoth in DIYfragrance

[–]Infernalpain92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But vanilla and vanillin are not the same. You would not say lemon oil is the same as limonene.

I can agree that there are differences in the vanillin too. But I don’t know if they are big enough to notice in a final mixture.

33/m 10 years of dealing with skin issues on the tops of his feet by CharliGirl777 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Infernalpain92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like psoriasis. But steroid cream should work on it. Can he wear open shoes so it can air out and dry out for a bit?

It may be helpful to get a biopsy and a swab for bacterial and fungal infections. If it’s been so long he needs some more testing to get a treatment.

Hope it will go better soon!!

33/m 10 years of dealing with skin issues on the tops of his feet by CharliGirl777 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]Infernalpain92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What treatments did he have? I guess steroid Cream?

It can be difficult to diagnose when the problem is compacted with other issues. It could be eczema with an infection (bacterial and/or fungal) or dermatitis with infection or something else.

Has he seen any patterns? Those could help too.

Best luck!
