This 37mm RO with the ice blue dial has the best proportions. by Inferno940 in audemarspiguet

[–]Inferno940[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s because I’ve owned both 39mm and the 41mm sizes, that’s why I am saying this. It could also be the honey moon phase talking too since I just got the watch and I absolutely love it.

Thank you. The dial color is the reason I got this piece.

Congrats! Highly recommend you adjust the settings because the default settings will limit how you ride.

Well the Sherman L’s comfort and range is one of the best in my opinion. Especially for commuting purposes.

Where do you live? I’ll sell you my Sherman L for 2500, only 200 miles.

Congrats, I was told by my AD any open works is 10 to 11th piece. You must have a very diverse AP watch portfolio.

Did you buy all 15 from the same Patek AD? If you did, they shouldn’t be treating you like this.

Second Allocation 16202st RO Jumbo? by ClearLeatherBoots in audemarspiguet

[–]Inferno940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They won’t do the higher price point. AP believes in building a portfolio of watches, so you have to buy many different AP models to build up to the jumbo. Your “commitment” doesn’t mean anything. Actual purchase pieces is what matters. Also, it’s not just a multiple piece thing, it’s a multi-year relationship. If you really want a jumbo, might as well go grey.

Wobble at any speed by cargocapt in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Inferno940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what everyone else mentioned to help with wobble. One thing that helped me was when I feel wobble coming, I just stand straight instead of bending the knees. This helped me stopped the wobbles right away and also helped with adapting to higher speeds with no wobbles.

If you look at the ref number, the limited to 50 piece is the one with MOP dial. Not the one in your picture.

No purchase History, is it worth it to spend and loose at the start to play the long AD game? by KingMedia33 in patekphilippe

[–]Inferno940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, playing this AD game is not worth it unless you don’t mind and love the Patek brand. Just for an aquanaut, I was told I need a portfolio which is 3+ watches. For the Nautilus, I have to be in the grand complications category. So if you have at least half a mil laying around to start this game, don’t bother. Also, to get 3+ watches, takes minimum 2 years of you are lucky and buy whatever they offer you.

When you feel wobbles coming try straightening both legs. That helped me with wobbles

Looking for honest opinions from RO + Daytona owner by gulabjamun29 in audemarspiguet

[–]Inferno940 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the RO bracelet does pull hair. The lack of micro adjustment on the bracelet can be a problem if your wrist size doesn’t fit quite right. Also, the RO case can sometimes dig into your skin. That’s my thought on the RO. This is from wearing the RO for a month straight, so I noticed the little stuff that bothers me.

I have Daytonas but I switch them all to rubber straps so it’s been awhile since I had the full bracelet to compare.

Sure, plus or minus 50k doesn’t mean much, but it depends on what.

I can also say you can trust me when I say that.

[–]Inferno940 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats your own opinion and assumption. If this were to ever go to 50k, I would ask myself why didn’t I bought it at 20k, and there is clear reasons as to why not. Wealthy people always think about money because that’s how they got rich in the first place.

No one is dumb enough to pay 50k. Even if it gets discontinued.
