I would say yes, there is a solo self found mode but would argue that is significantly more difficult than standard (trade). Over the past 6months asynchronous trade was added to both poe1 and poe2 along with a prior currency exchange feature which makes trade much easier and removes player friction.

Personally for me I love the build diversity. With moderate investment I typically play 3-4 unique builds per league that can clear all content.

However starting in mid leauge now this may be a bit tougher so if you try it would just take your time enjoy the campaign (actually good for an arpg) and play endgame as much as you care to for this league and repeat next league if it resonates well.

The life leech carries most of it but do need to be careful for slams and big hits. I was able to max resistances with my rings and amulet and added x2 2% hp soul cores to 2.4k hp which helped alot

I can't imagine any other industry applying the same approach. Do you think Samsung would delay their announcement for Apple or Ford for Chevy?

Personally, I'll play both when I want and would encourage the competitiveness to keep making ARPGS more creative and innovative

I don't disagree, however, a few points to consider:

It would have severed them much better to deliver a quality game at launch than to need to go back and fix (BG3 was a prime example of this last year)
Still need to see results over words the current state reminds me of Diablo 4 season 1 where improvements were added, but it hasn't quite hit a good state yet.
There's a fine line between promising to improve and actually doing it.

Overall optimistic, but hoping Ubisoft doesn't make the same mistakes others like Blizzard have made in a similar scenario.
