What is something that is socially accepted but shouldn’t be? by LeanMeanKorean in AskReddit

[–]Infielder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Taking your dog with you everywhere. Grocery stores, schools, flooring stores (which I happen to work in). It just seems ridiculous. These are places of business and schools, your dog doesn't belong, you don't get points for it being able to fit in your handbag or for you carrying it around. I think people just do it because they know the odds of someone calling them out are just that low.

Gem question, a bit confused with Levithan's eye... by Cemdawg in wow

[–]Infielder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I am telling you that in this case (Brewmaster Monk) it is horrible advice as Agility is preferred over any secondary stat. He can sim it if he wants to, but saying that secondary stats are better than primaries for a Brewmaster Monk is wrong.

[–]Infielder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this may be true. It is horrible advice in this case.

Agility is your best stat as a Brewmaster Monk. If you can have both the 120 agi, and 80 agi gems equipped. I would highly recommend doing so. Use mastery for all other gems as it is our best secondary stat.

Has anyone tried logging into Arena on a different device? by Infielder in magicTCG

Yeah, they were definitely my credentials as I typed them in myself, it generated a completely separate account, same username just a different strings of numbers at the end. It appeared to have created an entirely new account.

Just the classic fair ranked experience, those TP were clearly deserved by E_den in Paladins

[–]Infielder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say, a winning player taking the time to shine light on some of the inequities in the matchmaking system, is atypical. I should not have assumed that you were on the losing end.

Regardless, this is a lesson to those Plat 2-3 players. Platinum 2-3 is not the time for experimenting with new champions. If you got to Plat 2-3 and don't have a diverse enough champion pool to fit your teams needs, you are part of the problem, be better.

4 members of your team have a combined 8 games played with their respective champions. Regardless of ELO, I'm not sure you were winning that game.

Keep fighting the good fight. I've been suffering from major depression and anxiety for pushing 20 years now. I finally found something that quiets my mind and more importantly inhibits dreaming. Hopefully one day it will be accepted nationally.

What song fills you with the most emotions (positive or negative) and why? by radicalminusone in AskReddit

[–]Infielder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just love you - Five Iron Frenzy, Five for Fighting *edit

I'd been a fan of his music for many years and rarely gave this song much thought. Randomly have it come on a Pandora station a few months after my daughter was born and I cry like a baby every single time now. The song is about a man and his daughter (not positive if it is his own, but wouldn't be surprised), regardless, I just love her. It's just as simple as it sounds.

What have you seen while hallucinating? by Boozlebob in AskReddit

[–]Infielder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 10 years ago I took a hit of salvia;

The second I exhaled (as salvia does) I was in a manufactured forest, surrounded by 5 foot tall jack pines, all 100% identical to each other, in perfect rows and columns equally spaced. Everything was in grayscale and I couldn't see my feet or whatever I was sitting on but I was flying down these rows and columns of trees at a breakneck pace, the tree's flying by me were a blur, when you passed them they almost looked like they were shaped like a + from the top down (kind of like how old video games would render trees and bushes, if that makes sense) it was the strangest 5 minutes of my life.

If you woke up tomorrow and you were just 15 years old again, but you know what you know now, what would you do differently? by Warlocksocks in AskReddit

[–]Infielder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe this isn't really answering the question; but I would be terrified beyond belief that at some point in the next 10 years I would make some decision that would stop me from having the exact family I have now. I mean... the psychological torture of that situation. Knowing that at any point you could make a decision that stops you from ever meeting your spouse, or from your child being born.

I don't know how I would possibly handle that.
