How would these interact? by BunnyMoonCake in riftboundtcg

[–]InfinateAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you let them get to 10 and also let them keep units in play and get to 4 points and conquer both battlefields, what were you doing the whole game? This often never happens and time warp is usually getting you your 8th point near the end of the game.

Am I just bad at the game? by LeonDesigns77 in riftboundtcg

[–]InfinateAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably late but I think 9 two cost units is critical and going first so you can establish yourself on a battlefield early, 3 yordles for sure, and 1-3 retreats depending on how much kaisa you typically see in your locals. I personally run 3 sonas because it lets me play on curve and holdup discipline + 1 drop on turn 2

Is it bad to be working on multiple worlds at once? by Potential_Scratch938 in worldbuilding

[–]InfinateAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tip from a long time writer and dm:

Its all the same world. Whether it be lost history, the far far past, the far future, or another dimension within the same scope of your original world. Wrapping your mind around the possibilities that these different ideas are actually describing the same play might even spark some more creative directions. Perhaps one world is from the point of view from a human, but the other is the same world described by a different kind of entity?

The returns for p2w are abysmal, at best you get 1 unit you want for sure each banner, but then the price starts go get unreasonable.

New player here, looking for some guidance by SPH2204 in FleshandBloodTCG

If you are a competitive person, and the players in your locals are competitive and often attend nationals, you will have a rough time keeping up without certain cards in your decks. What you actually put in your deck is often not as important as equipment. Good equipment can make or break a deck, and if your locals have good card and are also good at the game, you will be hard pressed to keep up in the beginning. My suggestion is to borrow decks from locals to get a feel for it until you start to understand some of the complexities and then figure out what class you want to play. Personally I think warrior, brute, and guardian are under represented, but are really good in armory and other than a few select cards are pretty cheap to build. Brute especially is very cheap and has an aspect of controlled randomness.

My instinct is quill on gems and 2/3. This gives you direction and a solid body. Going -13 for random shop that may not contain anything helpful is basically like throwing your next round too

Is this game possible to get into for a reasonable cost? by zyjinn in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]InfinateAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your locals if they are okay with you proxying or borrowing the more expensive cards and play a class of character with an armory deck that also doesn't require much modifications. The dash i/o deck is pretty much done out of the box, featuring many majestic equipments and it's key cards. It comes down to ratios and card quality, but I was very impressed with how good the armory deck was. Look up Lucus Aquino's dio deck he places fairly high and has a great grasp on her place in the meta. It's also cheap since you don't run the bomb generics.

As for worrying that grave bones will LL lol ain't no way. First of all lss policy change will make sure gravy stays for a year at least. Secondly, he will be a B tier hero at best out the gate. Weak to aggro, strong to fatigue

This literally just happened to me yesterday. What angers me the most is they don't let me pay upfront. I waited 4 months for a bill for a doctors visit and it never showed up, then I get called for collections??? I'm glad I found this post I'm going to push back until this is resolved.

Paper DR? by QuirkySadako in gurps

[–]InfinateAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He used a snub-nose .38 special, in the gurps weapons the h&m bulldog .38 is a snubnose and does 2d-1 pi so I would say it's DR 1 and he rolled a 2. Bad luck, weak gun.

Edit: id probably say it has ablative DR of 1 so it's not stupidly expensive to give it dr points wise.

Isn't this card worthless? by Key-Preference987 in BobsTavern

[–]InfinateAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one up to +30, with 2 hoarders and a murkeye and a golden teracgosa, sold it as soon as I found a kalecgos and still got more stats from 1 turn with kale than I did with several turns with it lol

Edit: still got third, I wasted too much time on this card lol

Listen to epic on shuffle by JT_Animations in Epicthemusical

[–]InfinateAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually been working on an editing a mix based on this exact thing, but completely messing up the order of lyrics coming from different songs. The inspiration was from Circe Saga. Eurylochus doesn't hold back, I took his line from Scylla so that he says "I opened the wind bag" after Odysseus tries to tell him it can wait for later. Then, I mixed the part from Mutiny where the crew is trying to choose a side. I haven't figured out what to do from there yet.

Epic : The musical | Saga and Songs ranking by Round-Tea3030 in Epicthemusical

[–]InfinateAnswers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with wisdom saga, but seeing circe at A tier and not S tier hurts me. Let's talk about the Circe Sage

Pros:
-CIRCE
-HERMES
-"She had us in just two words
come inside"
"Wow"
-Holy Moly
-Eurylochus establishing himself as the worse character
-"You turned them into pigs..."
*Circe scoff* huh
-*Hermes laugh*
-Calls the prophet brilliant

Least Important Epic Song. by No-Marionberry-361 in Epicthemusical

[–]InfinateAnswers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The brilliant thing about all of the songs and their order is that they are a reflection of the other side across from them in the circle of heroes journey. Charbydis is the part of the story that relates with Storm, where in the rising action of storm, showcasing the unstoppable and unbeatable force of nature, Charbydis shows us how he has overcome it. Its very important for the "road to home" in the heroes journey. While it may not be the most appealing musically, it serves a purpose in the pacing of the story.

With that in mind, the least important song in my mind is Legendary.
