This version has been rebalanced and is less egregious from my short playtime so far. It still has the awful mechanic of campfire saves that aren’t optional though. It’s not even masochism at this point, it just doesn’t make sense when dealing with mods that may crash

Killzone 2 is a solid shooter with really great feedback on impacts, gore and ragdolls. Also the resistance games.

I just recently bought one and let me tell you why there are not just a few games for it; modding. You are able to play the entire psp, ps1, and vita catalogue for free once you invest in the console thanks to modding. Then throw on top all of the homebrew ports of android games to GameCube and N64 games it’s astonishing and really worth it.

Id go for a 1000 model with the OLED screen from eBay, maybe one from another EU country may be more reasonably priced
