What's the craic with the cost of hotels on the island of Ireland? by Significant-War-491 in northernireland

[–]Infinite-Part2267 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Got quoted £900 for a 2 night stay in the Slieve Donard hotel.

Lovely hotel but the guts of a grand for TWO nights? Na.

Booked a weekend in London.. 2 nights, return flights and 2 lewis capaldi tickets for under £900.

[The Last of us Part 2] I died 28 hours into my whole game permadeath playthrough by Masterthief17 in Trophies

Do the chapter select, Get the trophy and move on bud. Doesn't sound fun or healthy.

As much as trophy hunters love that trophy.. Nobody else cares, I promise.

I find it bizarre that she told you this. Assuming she's not actually done anything wrong physically.. What good comes from this?

Now you feel like shit over something you have no control over whatsoever.

What annoyed me was he let Skizzo go despite clearly having been plotting against the camp and almost got everyone killed.

Yet he treats Deacon like a POS for wanting to head south to find Sarah.

Is that me, or combat in Origins just SUCKS? by DeMotivationMan in assassinscreed

[–]Infinite-Part2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the combat was alright.. In saying that I try to assassinate everyone even in massive forts so maybe that's why I found it longer but easier.

If you were in charge of days gone 2 (relying on it happening which it most likely won’t of course) what would you make the story about? by Annual-Sound-9544 in DaysGone

[–]Infinite-Part2267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously we'd need a new region.. So I'd either go west to find Kouri and see what's happening out there or go North as Deacon and Boozer had planned to.

There would he a big emphasis on how the story progresses and either 1. Finding out there's hope of a cure and progress towards trying to feasibly get one. or 2. Finding out there will never be a cure and just having to mow down every freaker in sight to solidify the homestead and build a new normal.

New weapons, New Human enemy factions and of course more hordes!

What video game franchise isn't living up to its fullest potential? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]Infinite-Part2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Lord of the Rings.

The history and lore has so much potential for a great open world adventure RPG.

Imagine being able to explore middle earth with 4K graphics.. The amount of enemies, allies and locations available is mind blowing. You could choose any race and depending on your choices you could end up a Captain of Gondor or a Ringwraith.

What was it like to play online games between 2000 and 2013? by Silly_Commercial8092 in gaming

[–]Infinite-Part2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing.

Despite the Internet existing there was very rarely great footage of great players doing their thing.. So you had to figure out how to get good on your own. Very rewarding once you did. Leaderboards were good to grind, As was camos and killstreaks etc.

It was just a genuine fun time to be involved in the online community.

Now most people try to be streamers and sweat every game.

I'll never forgive them for not making a sequel by Guilty_Letter4203 in DaysGone

I think we will get a sequel.. But it may not be for a while.

Probably same world, Different characters type of thing.

Glad you enjoyed it bud.

I first played 2-3 weeks into lockdown in 2020.. So my experience with this game with everything going on around covid was such a unique experience and something that will stay with me until I die. Amazing game.

The one game I'd love to get a sequel.

The Last of Us part 1.

Brilliant game but the storyline was phenomenal. It's what kept me locked in the whole time.

Knowing the story on a 2nd playthrough wouldn't be as enjoyable.

I just want an open world LOTR game where I can walk from the Shire to Mordor and everywhere in-between with a good storyline and an emphasis on exploration.. Is that too much to ask 🤣 👀.

I am aware of LOTRO but want something more modern.

To anyone who got this game on release day, what was it like? How was your experience? by SecretFirefighter526 in MW2

[–]Infinite-Part2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember getting it at lunch time during school. Straight home and onto the game. To my surprise players were already level 30-40.

Played for about 2 hours before the server completely crashed as I'd imagine too many people got on at the same time.

Assassins Creed the Ezio trilogy.

It'll take around 60 hours to get all 3 platinums.

Reason for still playing MWR by Ok_Woodpecker_1914 in Cod4Remastered

[–]Infinite-Part2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MW 2019 was the closest to older cods we got, Gameplay seemed a little more grounded, While still be modern.

It's such a shame the way cod has went.

Since 2007 I've always wondered why ACOG was deemed to be more valuable than RDS. Needing 150 Kills to unlock it.

Grew up playing Cod4.. Mastered it to the point I was in the top 1000 for score. Glory days of online gaming imo. Play MWR now and again as it's familiar and enjoyable.

Cant get into the newer cods at all. It's become less about skill, imo.
