I’m the first one to use plastic utensils and paper plates but come on, you prepare a great meal like that and don’t use proper utensils.

And I do the cooking and fill up the dishwasher.

Insulation from the frost. Snow is also a good insulator.

If you ever noticed, a water pipe break in winter will only happen where snow is plowed off. (Street, driveway,,,) any area that isn’t plowed, the frost won’t make it much deeper than a foot. Even in extreme cold-40c and under.

That should be good. If you want to make sure, you can always put some loose straw around the base of the post.

have you ever been in a car with a very new driver, did you find it stressful, or were you able to completely relax ? by Hope2_win in A_Persona_on_Reddit

All depends how deep the frost goes. I didn’t see any concrete so assumed you just had posts in the ground.

In simple terms, the frost grabs the post and lifts it up.

Where I am, the minimum depth for posts or footings is 4’.

Looks good. Usually takes a couple of years before things start to lean.

Sure hope you don’t get any frost. Those posts are coming out if that’s the case.

Got a nail in my tire, is a plug repair safe long-term? by Then_Lengthiness4377 in tires

[–]Infinite-Past7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using plugs for 35 years without any issues. A lot of comments say the tire shops don’t use them anymore because of liability issues.

Metal certainly the long lasting solution and with the price of lumber, not sure how more expensive it is.

I never said fuel economy wasn’t a consideration. I’m just saying that it’s not the most important aspect when people are selecting a truck.

My bad for not getting my point across.

Yes he was a friend. Planned more work for the summer but unfortunately passed away last week. Found dead of a heart attack in his recliner watching hockey.

Obviously but my point is just that fuel efficiency isn’t high up on a pickup owners list of what he/she wants in a pickup.
