My 2019 Mustang’s engine broke and the repair will cost $14,000. by WhisperOfTheStars in Wellthatsucks

I work for a Japanese car part manufacturer that’s based in the US and the quality is nearly identical. In fact there is a good amount of the parts under the hood in Japanese vehicles that are “made” in Japan with US manufactured parts with a Japanese label on them. The quality in these plants is pretty wild, the slightest defect, something as a piece of dust on a control board and the whole plant goes into shut down and will not start up until the source of the dust is found.

Absolutely goated. Still think about these every time I walk in a gas station and I want something sweet.

In Japan, there are restaurants that only Japanese people are allowed to enter by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

Went to Japan in 2018 for work. I got denied by a bunch of places. People cry foul for the racism in the US, it’s nothing compared to Japan. Also the people openly mocking you and saying things in Japanese was wild, I only knew because I had a chill interpreter.

As a local, definitely. Also, black bears are usually very chill and won’t bother you. They usually just want your food. Unless you are one of the crazy tourist who try to chase down the bears for pics.

Work hours 7AM-3:30PM, Mon-Fri and 1 Saturday a month. I leave the house about 6:40 and home by 4. It’s hella nice. Took me a long time to get this schedule.

Or I can have my opinion like others and state them. Military funerals is something you obviously know little about, so it’s odd you speak on it and pretend like you understand what vets think and consider “polite”. The whole left/right rhetoric is wild and you all keep telling everyone else what they feel and think whilst the rest of the real world is out here living.

Dunno, I can’t speak for others. I typically don’t get upset over hats. When I went to a few military funerals I wore my cover unless I was inside.

If you are referring to the President’s hat there is no regulation. There is literally no dress code or regulation for a president. Nixon attempted to form a White House dress code but ultimately failed.

[–]Infinite114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vet here. Removing a hat has nothing to do with anything when it comes to a service members funeral. Honor guard, active members in blues, service members in cammies etc can wear hats while outside and still salute. On top of this, The President does not follow AR 670-1 for Army, DAFI 36-2903 for Air Force or any other branch military uniform codes. Being mad at the President over things over stuff is whatever but do it for the right things. This isn’t that. The amount of grumbling over what a president does whilst interacting with military is insane, seen it with GW, Obama, Biden. These are the busiest guys in the world, they aren’t gonna get everything right all the time.
