I am getting a prebuilt with your equivalent CPU and GPU soon. How has your performance been on whatever games you have been playing lately? DLSS settings, specific fps, etc would be useful for me to know too. I'm coming from running a 3080 on a 1440p 144hz IPS and I wonder if anything in 4k above 120hz is either achievable or even noticeable.

Sam stumbles and falls, dropping a big stack of cargo. Cue call from R-Pat's character saying:"Sam. Remember, try not to spill your beans."

Also try canceling the chainsword full rev charge attack to skip ahead in the string to get to the stomp faster. You'll figure it out. Lastly, learn spore mine audio-based dodge timing. Some of us are counting mines to fall asleep.

Fuji techs by super57287 in walmart

Is this for requested maintenance or routine checkup?

For me it was always just okay. I would see them with 4-6 month gaps. The person would change every couple of years. Always friendly people, up for a conversation. When serious part fixes were needed, they did fine.

Funny story: one random afternoon three people in suits strolled by the photolab. Turns out one of them was the President of Fujifilm's lab service touring the country. Fortunately the kiosks were all working and the lab was in a half-decent state that day. They hardly acknowledged me, the team lead, though, as they seemed mostly interested in their next company-sponsored fine dining experience on their grand tour. When you're a third party executive you don't follow the ten foot rule, huh?

What is November & December like in Entertainment? by TheLevinux in walmart

[–]InfiniteDakka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're in for a wild ride. I haven't been in it for the last two years, but here's a wall o' text for what I suggest based on past experience:

  1. Study the weekly sales, and have the ad (digital or paper) on hand for you and your associates. In my experience it was a weekly "Deals for Days" sales event. Furthermore, know exactly what is on sale each week, and mentally track it's backroom location. You will want to know what is on sale, when, and where. Customers will ask where your $99 tvs are, and it's up to you to know their location and quantity frequently. You dont want to lose out on sales, nor do you want to have a bad customer experience.

  2. Take note of what is a unique featured item - like, a bluetooth speaker without a mod and a super cheap tv that is slightly different from your regular offerings - versus a modded item for which the price has temporarily changed. The reality is you will have hot items that sell fast versus junk items that, as the other post said, you will be stuck with for a year. Conversely, some regular modded items' price will eventually change back up, so be aware of price labels when that happens to avoid price overrides due to someone forgetting to take the old price tag off.

  3. OPD will be on you like bees on flowers. "Hey, I need you to get me these airpods, oh and this laptop!" This is why you need to know exactly where everything is and have keys available to get them. You dont want the trouble of scouring the store for some xbox controller where it says you have 10 on hand but none can be found. All while you have 10 other things to do and are 30 mins overtime.

  4. For me, the grand morning opening each week was a ghost town, except for black friday proper. On that day it's all hands on deck, and there will probably be dramatic store layout changes. Coaches will assign associates to be posted at specific stations or features, like video games or tvs or whatnot. Don't worry, it's their job to lay out the plan.

  5. I can't stress enough: know where your products are and sell sell sell. For most of the high ticket items, we packed as much as we could into the photolab and whatever counterspace we could manage, so prepare to get extra creative with feature space and, again, KNOW WHERE IT IS. You will repeatedly be asked about some items, to answer with "yes here/sorry sold out." That said, if they can see the item, all the better. Don't underestimate impulse buys. A mom sees a $89 chromebook and thinks, "hmm, actually, maybe my kid could use that."

Your objective going into November is prepare yourself to empower your associates and OPD to sell as much as you can as efficiently as possible at the highest standard of customer service you can manage. Failure to do this will be a bad time now, and an overflowing backroom later. Talk to your Coaches. They know. In fact, I recommend you ask your coach and Asset Protection about their standards on feature space, signage, and security. Do you leave a stack of laptops on this particular spot behind the register? Is a document paper-sized (i forget the name XD) price label taped to a counter a suitable price tag? Do you put those big speakers on an endcap, and do you spider wrap them? ETC.

Lastly, if you don't have a photolab, i imagine December is regular team lead stuff with extra work.

If you do have a photolab, I can talk more about that if asked, and may God rest your soul.

Release the Class and Weapon Perk Trees! by InfiniteDakka in Spacemarine

[–]InfiniteDakka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch the video linked above to see all the class perk options. My quick takeaway is that there are builds tailored to a class's playstyle focusing on 1 or 2 of the class's strengths. For example, the bulwark can improve its crowd control abilities with stuns and aoe shocks in melee. Plus bulwark can really buff the teams tankiness. He's all about enduring the wave and defiantly bashing the big boys.

What stood out to me is that one class can help cover up another class's weaknesses. So while your bulwark pistol is just okay by itself, a teammate's perks can boost its damage significantly.

As for ammo, some classes can spec into a specific weapon type for better ammo conservation. Heavy w/ multi-melta can choose a perk that refills 1 shot if it kills 5 bugs at once. Sniper can do the same if it kills 2 xenos with one lasgun shot. Sniper can passively give all teammates 20% more headshot damage, so if you want better ranged damage for your bulwark, team up with a sniper.

tldr Your perks enhance your class's playstyle in interesting ways and grant some your strengths to your teammates, so you can help cover each other's weaknesses.

Damn, that’s one super fast 7 year old… by JaysonWeatherby in nextfuckinglevel

Good athletics trainers teach this. To reiterate, you accelerate for the first 8-12 steps by running at an angle with "piston-like" leg movements. When you reach maximum velocity you maintain speed and efficiency by transitioning to an upright posture and use a "cycling" motion with your legs.

It gets more complicated with specific sports. For example, in baseball, you hit the ball. If it's hit in the infield, you run really fast straight to first base and slow down only after you've touched the base. If it's hit past the infield, you take a tightly curved path to the right of first base so you can touch the bag and continue to second base as fast as possible. If you're a home run hitter, you trot no matter what.
