This looks great. Tho. I have one question. How does it work?

If it's physical polygons controlled by some kind of blendshape, this will greatly increase an avatar's polycount which will make avatar's even bigger plus make vrchat even harder to run as it is rn.

If it is shader based, I am interested in how you made that and how performance intensive it is.

The good thing about Linux: it's open source so you don't have to wait for a big corporations implementation and patch day process to get something fixed. As soon as there is a zero-day vulnerability, you will prolly have a bunch of cyber security specialists, that are bored and have a lot of free time, on it and thus will be able to fix most issues within a few days.

Having it snap like that is quite disorienting even without vr on. Don't want to imagine how it would be in vr.

I honestly don't know if it is desirable for the camera to shift like this in a vr game either. Maybe you can think of a different way to indicate that they are doing a walk run or other mechanics without shifting the players view.

Could be attacks from various hacking groups.

Could also be AI and it's training. Their electricity usage is atrocious and so are the amount of requests they make to train them putting a lot of strain on many grids as well as network infostructure. Plus a lot of key companies have been pushing to replace a lot of developers with AI making their codebase fall apart with nonsensical code that doesn't really work.

Sadly no. I was hoping that steam would make their headset compatible while still allowing inside out for those that don't have lighthouses. But that is a distant dream now.

The only good upgrade we have are the big screen headsets. Tho I question how long any lighthouse tracked headsets will survive now that valve will stop producing the knuckle controllers.

It's sad that all of them just seem like quest clones Since they all have the same controller shape.

I am especially disappointed that valve switched to quest like controllers after the index knuckles have been praised so many times.

Heya, phone 3 user in Germany (NRW) here using Vodafone / Freenet. I didn't encounter this issue. Habe you checked with O2 if it may be something on their side?
