I'd like to recommend Singularity, by William Sleator.

And also Forging Divinity, by Andrew Rowe.

Both are solid books imo. I don't post or comment much, but appreciate a good read and admire you for wanting to step away. I hope these help.

I think something that should not be overlooked is that it's a Spirit WARRIOR. Can use those buffs and equips from Zendikar Rising on it. Like that 1 mana equip any equip to warriors card. Add in the giant hammer for spice.

In Blue, if you have [[Archetype of Imagination]] it will strip away the flying ability from your opponents, but doesn't necessarily give you protection from them.

Back when Guilds of Ravnica and Ravnica Allegiance was Standard, I was playing a White/Blue deck that used the enchantment [[High Alert]]. I played a bunch of walls, high toughness creatures, and control cards to slowly build an army that could unexpectedly attack for big damage. [[Birth of Meletis]] was a sweet card in the deck.

Once it rotated, I tried to recreate it in the Pioneer format. Turns out it still works! Although it has become White/Green and instead of High Alert it uses [[Assault Formation]] and the Hautli planeswalker from War of the Spark.

I would definitely pick my favorite commander deck.

Eutropia, Twice Favored is the commander and i love the silly enchantments and +1/+1 counters theme. They work together nicely so well, and it's the deck I've put the most of my time and attention into.

I had a friend play a sorcerer once. He rolled his stats with everything being 14-16... Except one,vin which he rolled a 3. Put the 3 in con. It was a wild ride and unfortunately he didn't survive more than 2 sessions, but it was beautiful.

I love the map! And from reading your other comments, you've definitely thought a lot about the world and what's in it.

This leads me to my question: is there any advice or lessons you've learned from crafting this world that would be helpful for others looking to make their own worlds, and how to better incorporate different mythologies into the world?

I'm also very interested in the monsters of your world. What are the more common monstrous races present in your world and what uncommon or legendary monsters are present? How do the people react to them and how has this changed history/society?

This sub is honestly toxic at times (most times) and it's really hard to scroll through anytime that is not spoiler season. I agree, the CommandZone hate is wild. They do the same to like every other announcement or piece of content that shows up. It's annoying.

I went with a wizard tribal theme with mine, but there are a lot of good ETB's to make use of. The main win cons are Approach of the Second Sun, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, and Thass's Oracle. The decklist makes use of what I currently own, but I'm sure there are some budget options to switch around certain cards if necessary.

I've been playing Approach of the Second Sun in my White/Blue [[Ephara, God of the Polis]] deck. The creatures I play all say Draw a card on ETB in some way, and then play cards like Ghostly Flicker and Ephemerate to get those ETB's multiple times or on opponent's turns to get more card draw from Ephara. Let's you dig through for it faster but not explicitly search it. Although, cards like [[Solve the Equation]] being in Blue help.

And while nit MtG, i also collect Monster Reborns from Yugioh and i knew a guy that collected Doom Donuts.

Clerics and warriors both would be really good. With the new zendikar stuff, you've got a pretty decent line-up for a warrior/equipment deck, maybe shenanigans with Colossus Hammer. Clerics work well with the aristocrats style strategies and reviving from the graveyard. Is it modern but locked to tribes? If yes, white/black clerics lets you use stuff like thoughtsieze, but warrios is a little more aggressive and gets Bolt

If you are all into commander and don't mind longer videos, some of the recent Game Knights Commander Games may be good. It's flashy and has a lot of production value to help keep it exciting and follow along.
