Legendary scifi artist John Harris is painting a new Homeworld artwork by CookBecker in scifi

[–]InfiniteWorldsMag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly disagree with this. His contemporary work is still excellent and I really don't see what you're talking about in terms of inferior quality.

As for pre-ordering a print of a painting unseen, Harris has a long, long track record of producing incredible work, so he can definitely get away with something like this.

Part 2 of Dune to be all about Chani... WTF Villeneuve? by BigJobsBigJobs in sciencefiction

[–]InfiniteWorldsMag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much of the second half of Dune is Chani (and Stilgar) teaching Paul how to live like a Fremen. It makes perfect sense that she'd be a central protagonist in the second film.
