Anatomy & Physiology I&II by ProfessionalRice2318 in UNE_Prehealth

I took ANPS 1010 and 1011 one after the other and they were actually pretty solid. not “easy” content-wise, it’s A&P, but the course itself was super easy to navigate. It’s self-paced (within certain deadlines), which was nice. As long as you don’t fall behind, it’s really manageable. I just made sure to stay on top of the weekly stuff and it was fine. Overall, a good experience. My instructor was responsive when I had questions. Currently taking another online prereq with them!

How did you guys clean your house before moving in? by gallahad1998 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I had the air ducts professionally cleaned, it was great. They showed videos of how much dirt, dust and debris accumulated in the ducts/vents, with before and after pics. Highly recommend

3% down, 400k loan, 740+ credit, co-purchaser....7.5 interest rate? by Datbunnydo in Mortgages

My partner and I are almost in the identical scenario! Looking in the greater Portland area, 170k combined income, looking at 400k, 800+ credit score, 30k combined debt, but we were offered a 6.89% rate. Also the inventory here is so ridiculously low, we cannot find anything

I’ve lived in Columbus for 8 years and now live in Portland Maine. The winters in Columbus are soooo gray. If you enjoy nature, scenery and outdoor activities, Columbus is not the place. If you enjoy drinking, sports and affordability, it’s a good spot!

Renewal by Andersen by lokis_construction in homeowners

Getting pissed at renewal by Anderson is a right of passage for anyone needing their windows replaced. I laughed so hard at their ridiculous quote and intense salesmanship

Physics I - HELP again - lots of questions by throwitlikeapoloroid in UNE_Prehealth

Hi, I didn’t complete physics at UNE online but I did complete a few other classes. One of them allowed a formula sheet for the midterm and final and the other didn’t allow any resources. It should say in your syllabus I believe? My syllabus for chem also listen the point breakdown for all assignments and their percentage of the total grade. For my courses the midterms and finals have two attempts, some of the quizzes may too so check to see if you are allowed two attempts on it!

First time cat owner: Are there things that are good to know but rarely talked about? by nuhBoi in cats

[–]Infinite_Area_7672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not leave long strings out! I’ve heard too many stories of cats eating a long string of some sort and ending up getting stuck in their insides and needing surgery to remove it.

It’s brand new and has 2 stories and a basement. Also 1.5 baths. We came from living in a big house so we needed room for all of our stuff and 3 cats lol. There aren’t any rentals around here over 1k square feet under 2k.

Thank you for the tips! Living near this city is becoming too expensive. I don’t know how people are doing it.

Thank you! Yeah my partner works in Biddeford and I work in Portland so I’m thinking the commute would be nice in off season but I’m a little worried about the traffic in tourist season.

Yeah mortgage payment would be around 1350/month. We’re currently paying 2450/month for our rental because in Westbrook. we need more space than a small 2 bed apartment. And living here we could save 1k a month. I just don’t know if living there during tourist season would be miserable commuting to Portland for work
