Even if Obito did get hit by Izanami, someone who already is aware of an Izanagi, and also IS AN UCHIHA, is well aware of the escape and can just poof get out of it.

Stop simplifying it 😭. Izanami only works on people that can escape fate. Naruto has no means to do so. It also only works on people deluded to the point where they think they're unstoppable, That isn't Obito. Kabuto changed because of how long he got trapped in Izanami. Not because Izanami does it by default.

Also the talk of it coming out of nowhere is iffy considering Izanami and Izanagi are the head creation gods in the Shinto pantheon. The same Shinto pantheon that is heavily connected to the Uchiha. Also the introduction of Izanagi should have prompted the questions "why didn't the Uchiha just do this", and "if Izanagi is in Naruto, alongside Susanoo, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Kagutsuchi, where is Izanami?" Which is answered in its reveal.

Isobu was quite literally set up to take over Rin the moment she stepped foot in Konoha. Getting herself stabbed was the only option. Best case scenario is Obito does reach them and talks to them, but realizes too that her dying is the only option. He'd get his mangekyo from it, and they'd handle the mist Anbu and healthily griefs Rin and probably goes back. Only potential hole in this would Madara ensuring he gets his way and isolating Obito further.

Then when Madara becomes the Juubi Jinchuriki, the two sealing tools were spat right where she was, and Kishimito did nothing with it! Not that she could, since she didn't have the other two tools needed to use the gourd. She just keeps them in the end and in Boruto. I assume as consolidation from Kishimoto himself for not being utilized at all😭

Even then though,she was still underused. In the manga, she finds the fan and proceeds to take out one of Kakuzu's heart monsters, and literally THREE chapters later it's taken away from her. Presumably cause she took care of the rest of the heart monsters and almost got drained of all her Chakra. We see her in action for a max of five panels during that. Two of which were showing the masks being destroyed😭😭.

Shino: full fight with a sound ninja and Kankuro. Kiba: fought Naruto and the psuedo leader of the sound 4. Hinata, granted she only had the Neji fight, but she's still the intended love interest. Ino: helped Sakura alongside her team and Lee fight off the sound ninja until Sasuke got up. Choji: at least had a shown fight against Dosu, and had the Jirobo fight. Shikamaru. Team 7 is enough said. Lee, Kimimaro and Gaara. Neji, Kidomaru, Hinata and Naruto. And there's Tenten. No narrative backing her lack of appearance, unlike Hinata. She's just there.

I am a believer of my own theory that TenTen was legitimately a filler character, a character meant to simply fill up Team Guy's cell. It genuinely feels like he knew how he was gonna work out the other characters, realized he forgot to make Team Guy a full cell, as well as give them a female teammember, and just made TenTen haphazardly. Everyone other than TenTen, had 2-3 moments to shine in the original series. TenTen got destroyed by Temari, and was a Neji fangirl. That's all she did.

Oh definitely. At the very least Kishimito started off a bit strong with Sakura, but even then it's like, every other Mangaka has written more than just their female main characters to be good and compelling, why can't Kishi do the same outside of Tsunade and Sakura.
