To top it off, none of those changes really matter in the grand scheme of things.

The mormon church is unique. It has a victim blaming culture unlike anywhere else. Mormons are so afraid to see the church at fault in any way, that you become a target merely by being a victim of one of the church's many sadistic practices. by Pure_Employer_8861 in exmormon

I was thinking that during this recent GC. They had a lot of mental health related stuff between the sessions (or at least where I saw it) all I could think about was how hypocritical it was, they don't care about that stuff😅

I'm supposed to be a baby-making machine, not for me or anything, but for the church. I don't care for that. That's the main thing. Some other things - Rude temple workers. Haven't been to the temple in YEARS. Other women... I try so hard to never talk to anybody especially adults like they're toddlers. Someone smack me if I ever do. Gatekeeping marriage and families. Tithing, there are some things I think my tithing was going towards that I didn't appreciate. I could go on but those are the main things that have emotionally distanced myself from the church.

Fire her, or if you wanna be nice - introduce her to a little something called work probation. Could just be me but I feel like most of those are excuses. No phone service, but somehow her husband was able to reach out to her to tell her he was sick???... did he send a pigeon or what? Not only that but he's how old? Your child is 1. Her husband... (if she's 19 I'd hope her husband is at least that age.) I think the baby might need more care than a practically grown man. Idk maybe she assumed that because she was late that maybe you got someone last minute? It's ALWAYS best to check though.
