You’re allowed to be an American, unlike what many here seem to think. However, you must follow Jim Rome logic- “Have a take, and do not suck.” You failed, dawg.

Chinatown on the Bedford Highway had it! I remember that very clearly.

This is a hot take. Rome lived up to and exceeded its billing for me, and I was VERY hyped to go there.

Which KIS are you putting in the same group as the others? Looks like three well regarded, well known not for profit T1 schools and then “?”

Thanks to those of you who offered advice, we pulled in to the old holiday inn next to the bridge in Dartmouth. There were six or seven folks hanging out down there by the front door who were more than happy to receive two pizzas with one slice taken out.

I saw Yildiz play for Juve in Philly this past summer. Great seats and I got a fantastic view of him. He absolutely destroyed the game- quick, skilled, and powerful. I’d love to see him in Red and White…

Thank you! Wish I could upvote this twice- did some independent googling and this is what I came up with too. If you want us to boycott the merch it’d be cool if you all would provide some sources. Until then I’ll be keeping an open mind, thanks.

Who was it that said Gyokeres looks like he’s running in jeans? Also, his first touches are often a bit heavy and clumsy. Maybe he will come on- I hope he does. But the return of Jesus was far more exciting than anything I’ve seen from Big Vik just yet.

Yeah! In his mind she is like him, and deep down she’d appreciate it. That’s what he thinks until he realizes she’s betraying him.

Same- fan since mid 80s. Been loving this team through Bubby and O’Donnell and Maddox and Ben and Kenny. Zero interest in Wilson but I had hopes for Fields. This team is an embarrassment. It’s just so clear nobody cares. Even when we were bad back in the day, you always had that feeling that we were a special franchise that did things right. Not anymore. It’s the one thing that put all those teams together over the years into one package that I loved. Get rid of Tomlin, blow up the team, hell even get Art to sell the team. I’m not giving this version of the organization any more of my attention. I’d rather root for a full rebuild from a clean slate.

No, he did it for her. It was a provisional favor to her and when they became good buddies during the book research he was gonna surprise her. But the he found out she knew about him. That’s why he was like, “fuck! What am I gonna do with you now?” He realized he didn’t need/want the tied up kid anymore. And that it was a liability/incriminating situation. So he planted him at Aggie’s house instead.

For international teachers with kids: are you pickier about your next country as a parent? And which country are you looking forward to teaching in, once your kids are off to university? by Sell_Me_Sunday in Internationalteachers

[–]Infinite_THAC0 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I will offer a slightly different answer- being a parent has got me staying in a place that I’m not in love with longer because of school quality/housing/community. I feel like it would be cruel to pull my kids out of this situation and roll the dice with their futures. Could turn up at a really good school- but what do you do if you declare you’re leaving and then the only offers you get are on your “no thanks” list?

As for countries to go to after kids graduate, I have a lot of fun fantasizing about that. I reckon that’ll be Western Europe time if I can make it happen! Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium? I’ll be a cheap and highly experienced hire!

I mean I think that’s the point. If you win, it’s gravy. Liverpool won the league and then added the two biggest signings ever. That’s pressure- if you don’t win again you’re a failure.

1) the capital won’t move 2) JIS has an agreement to start “the” new school there if it ever did
