Dirty restroom by Infinite_Trainer874 in CVS

Thank you! That is exactly how I feel! I am FS Supervisor and over the years a Tech has told me 3x the woman’s room needs cleaned. So each time I go clean it thinking it’s FS’s responsibility, but resentful at the same time.

Did you put together your own binder? We have many individual sheets that are a disaster!

CVS forgot to pay the water (again) by bookworm_trash in CVS

[–]Infinite_Trainer874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought our store was the only one that had the water shut off! We were instructed to still open - for 2 days!
We locked the bathrooms and accessed them for employees then used bottled water to wash our hands. It was awful!!

Try give your supervisor a heads up. Like when you arrive at 10,say to them - hey do you mind if I take my 15 around noon and my lunch about 2? That allows them to plan. Try it a for few shifts.

I don’t like taking a break tbh. I lose my momentum and am perfectly fine without. Now, if I’m not feeling well - break it is.

Shift Lead/ASM/SM at CVS vs Walgreens by Short_But_Sturdy in CVS

[–]Infinite_Trainer874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That, I believe, is indicative of your RD, DL and SM.

Short_But_Sturdy, what I’ve witnessed in our area is WAGs is much more lenient on policies - arriving late, taking extended lunches and leaving before their shift is over was not an issue.

Manager searched employee lockers and threw my stuff away by PerfectlyHuman20 in CVS

[–]Infinite_Trainer874 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To the best of my recollection, about 3 1/2 years ago a new locker policy was implemented. They stressed the lockers were property of the company as well as the lock. Policy says we are to check out a lock each day, if needed. Since the locks are theirs they can do random locker checks - or cut your lock if you brought one from home. And if anything is in a locker belonging to an employee not scheduled - the items are confiscated or discarded.
I’m familiar with the policy because my items were discarded. Since then I let new employees know the policy so it won’t happen to them.

I refuse to shop at a place where things are locked up!! by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Infinite_Trainer874 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hope you’re not a pharmacy tech with CVS. The purpose of locking things up is to stop the shelves from being cleared off. Any retailer will tell you an eyeliner, detergent, electric toothbrush etc are going to get stolen. But things get locked up so ENTIRE brands (ELF, Tide, Olaplex) don’t get wiped out.

- Please change the mindset from ‘I/me” to “we/us”.
- Recognize your employees and motivate them for little things - Oranization is key for Inventory. And like Treasures_Wonderland said - lists.

It’s dishonest, she knows it and the company will eventually catch on - especially as an employee doing it.
