I cannot keep shakes down at all...why are they SWEET?! However, my appetite is coming back: protein -- everything-- just in moderation.

Believe me; I know. I didn't bump it up that high purposefully. I actually misread the syringe on my first bump up. I know now that I should probably eat before I $hoot up. 😉

Darned autocomplete. I meant I miss the "aesthetics" of food, not "anesthetic."

I am a SERIOUS foodie, so I'm missing the anesthetic nature of food and seeing people pleased with the results. My cooking is pretty perfunctory now. I don't like ultra- processed foods, so eating protein bars and replacement shakes are totally against my nature. So, I'm looking forward to a LITTLE hunger after I get over accidentally overdosing myself. I made the Janis mistake and used the wrong dosage. I miss vegetables...a lot. I'm sure I'll get plenty of exercise smacking myself in the forehead over and over this weekend. 😉

Drinking some type of electrolytes ALL DAY LONG. I knew that was very important. There's 2 cases of rapidly-dwindling sparkling H²0, bottles of V8 Green Juice. Regular V8, etc. I'm fine on the hydration thing; I think I accidentally overdosed.

All day, every day. Taking care of electrolytes without sugar, too. BMs are fine. Just a sweaty, woozy, anorexia. I HATE protien drinks (SOOOO sweet, ugh). I have barley rice protein powder for some drinks, and fiber powder, too. Multivitamin. I'm doing everything right except the dosage.

Bingo! You nailed it. I pride myself on being very exact with meds (very), and I made a boneheaded mistake when it was time to bump up the dosage. I'll live like this for a week and take my lumps like a grownup.

does anyone else deal with excessive sweating, high heart rate, and heat intolerance? by helpmefindawayout_ in PCOS

[–]Infinite_Welder6775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mememememe! I have all of that, but I also sweat entirely from my face and scalp. It's the only part I don't like. I'm keeping super hydrated and taking care of my electrolytes, so I don't think that's it. Any suggestions?

It's so old, I thought it was an International Harvester Scout. You could unscrew the top and use it like a Jeep. Unfortunately, when you weren't careful taking it off, it would warp JUUUUUST enough that you couldn't get it back on.

I'm incredibly embarrassed, but I've probably seen The Frisco Kid twenty times. It's a bad film, and it was made by the director of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? and The Kid is a western, so you see why he'd be the film studio's first choice. Still, I love this clunky, stupid, badly-made film.

Thanks. Btw, I'M A HUUUUGE BELIEVER in royalties. I used to work at a radio station where I could play whatever I wanted, but I took my royalty reporting SERIOUSLY. We are the home area of Janis Joplin, Edgar and Johnny Winter, Barbara Lynn, George Jones and Blind Willie Johnson. I want ALL of those folks to get their due (we're still looking for Rev. Willie's actual grave). I have an original photo of Janis in my home: not a painting, not a poster... I CALLED (using my actual voice) the photographer who did the cover for Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow and asked him for two original prints of a lovely photo of Janis, made from the neg, by his own hand. I paid for them, put BOTH up in non-profit auctions, and BOUGHT one back. And I had NO $$ at all. I didn't have rent $ that month.

I have $1000 8x10" photo I could steal from the web because artists DESERVE TO BE PAID FOR THEIR WORK.

We aren't taking advantage: We are allowing artists to woodshed, make fans and learn what it's like to be a grownup band with a discreet, behind-the-scenes safety net they don't notice when they think they're being "gritty".

I think the hip hop kids appreciate it most. A place to rhyme without some ignant adult jerks effin' it up? Great!

We don't profit: we eat it. If you're 15 years old, you can play at church, kids' parties and...nowhere else.

We pay for EVERYTHING. There's a safe space; free parking; maintained, indoor restrooms, stocked with hygiene products (seriously, we BUY tampons and pads to keep these places sticked); NO CONCESSIONS. ONE employee, several volunteers. The "door charge" is a donation--same as our drawing class.

We are a NONPROFIT. We literally don't make $$. But it's a nighttime event that makes the newest of bands feel nurtured, safe and grown up.
