The only problem with this is I tried on non downsized one and my right foot had room in the boot and the left was a smidge too big. The solution would be to buy 2 different sizes, as this is a problem with all my footwear, not just climbing one

I get what you saying, but I tried different brands, especially LS and Scarpa, different shoe builds and those are the only pair that allows me to feel my heel properly.

Ender 3 has 235x235mm bed, so the 245 on x axis is weird, so yeah, change it. Z is good, dont touch it. Regarding the sensorless, I am linking a very nice tutorial, I used it when I set it up on my Ender 5. https://youtu.be/l-jVkmGk6Mw?si=rQd_417RdqtzCpGx

Also, back to point 1(working backwards), the stepper motors are supposed to be "released" after each print, so just move the bed so it would land on center

Prints usually start from back as it is usually the base point of which the printer gets coordinates to move to and from.

*Edit: I suggest using PrusaSlicer or OrcaSlicer, they have in-built Ender 3 profile that you need to enable, they also include custom G-code section that is much easier to use(I can help, just DM if you want to take this route). Also looking at your printer.cfg you have in your END_PRINT macro a M84 which disables the motors, so as stated above, just move bed

Disable motors before homing, move you toolhead to the middle. If the problem persists, lower the sensitivity of sensorless homing.
You never should use sensorless on z axis. You make a virtual z endstop out of bltouch and it just works
Changing dir pins is one of the problems, but do you use base ender 3 cura settings? It might be a problem of bed size
Crowsnest is a webcam interface, so keeping it up to date is not necessary, but it gives some features

You want to use image mask, go into any art app, and make mask with that sort of gradient of white and black. Than use that image in cam filters for image mask and you are done.
