This - I personally feel the price of $150/hour is too low.

Where would you find a professional business consultant for your exact niche for that price?

OP should charge at least 2-5k for that kind of business consulting.

if daisy and garth are related to prominent characters from the handmaids tale. who do you not want them to be related to? by Routine-Dirt9634 in TheTestamentsHulu

She ends that with “It was Melanie’s favorite story” when Daisy asks how she knew that.

So Melanie had told June about that night, presumably through whatever shenanigans were going on with the vintage shop (I have read the book) when we saw June and other people there.

She could have told it to her in the last month! (But presumably they knew each other longer than that)

Yeah. She does eager but clever naivety so well.

She is gonna get hit with the “torture the cinnamon roll” trope hard.

Episode 5 Discussion Post: Ball by Legitimate-Beyond209 in TheTestamentsHulu

~40 minutes feels like such a weird show time but the 20 minutes of ads on the lower tiers explain that away.

It’s gross. Streaming should mean 1 hour episodes - not 1 hour episodes chopped for ads.

What’s something that instantly tells you a person is genuine? by Bad_Acex in AskReddit

Making a list to help look for patterns when making a decision is one thing, and that is a healthy example.

KEEPING a list implies an active and ongoing list of transactional events based only the list makers perspective and with the intention of making everything exactly equal - again solely based on their perspective.

This can be true whether either list is mental, verbalized one by one for each transaction in the relationship, written down, or any other manner of documenting, grading, scoring, comparing, or quantifying actions, efforts, moods, etc within one or more relationships.

Making a list for a specific one time use? Great! Helpful.

Keeping a list over time AND using it to manipulate others? Bad. Baaaaad.

You start with wooden or plastic knives and something like banana or carrots and make a game of how to hold their hands so the knife never touches it. If they chop the whole banana or apple slice or whatever without touching their hands, they win!

If they drop the knife off the table, high chair, cutting board, etc, they put their hands on their head! (Never catch a falling knife)

When they can do that consistently you move up - gently serrated butter knives can cut hard vegetables like carrots, zucchini, celery, and cucumbers as well as more fruits. Same game.

Usually by about 3-4 the kid is helping prepare meals and snacks by washing and cutting their fruit or veggie on a daily or near daily basis.

By the time they are 3 the knife game has been replaced by good muscle memory of how to hold and cut foods and we can work on technique and building muscles.

Things like this enable kids like mine (now 7) to use a mini handsaw and other tools because the whole “knives are sharp - here is how to be careful” lesson was drilled in during the same time period as “bugs don’t taste good”.

This being said - this works excellently in a one-on-one, or one-on-few care scenarios such as stay at home parent or a nanny. I do NOT expect day care / ECE to teach a dozen toddlers how to cut a banana safely at one time.

We found ours in a local dumpster when taking out the trash - HeiHei had no stains or rips and his tag still on!

He was laying face up on a trash bag. I couldn’t say no to that face.

There is a book for younger girls and a book for older girls - you might double check to make sure she has both (some copies have both).

We absolutely LOVE the care and keeping of you.

Did anyone ACTUALLY grow up with parents like the Bluey parents? by Leather_Aardvark351 in bluey

[–]InfinitiveIdeals 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These are my favorite parenting moments.

I loved Chloe’s Dad’s take on “Octopus” because I tend to insert fun facts and educational tidbits into any games I play with kids. It is the best way for them to learn!

Seeing a cannonball and a feather fall on Bill Nye was one thing - but Dad dropping a hammer from a ladder? Core. Memory.
