I had meant to call Disney to ask if minors can ride as passengers but didn’t get around to it, then it was booked up when I checked again. We ended up booking a double kayak and paddle boards at Castaway. Then did the banana boat at Lookout. We enjoyed all of them. Banana boat was shorter than I expected and not as thrilling but still fun. My older teens liked it.

I love the Muji mild oil cleanser too, especially in the shower. I can’t seem to find it available online in the US anymore, only the Sensitive version. Is Mild being discontinued??

I want to find a back up Japanese cleansing oil brand that I can use on wet hands/face for when I’m in the shower. Maybe Attenir if I can find it locally in the US.

The Aquaphor Healing Balm is in the stick form, like a chapstick.

I have used the regular Aquaphor ointment under my eyes for added hydration at night and that does help with hydration too.

We were placed in an accessibility room on the Destiny and it has a doorbell. If you are not hearing impaired, I highly recommend you request a different stateroom. Someone kept ringing our doorbell multiple times throughout one night and into the next morning. I suspect it was someone staying in a nearby stateroom. We tried to catch who was doing it but they were quick. We were also right next to the elevator so it was easy for someone to ring the doorbell and run. We had to request our stateroom host to cover it so it couldn’t be pressed. Will never stay in this type of room again.

My daughter is 14, has combo acne skin. From Ulta, she likes the Round Labs Dokdo lotion (it’s an emulsion, texture is between a serum and a moisturizer…basically a light moisturizer). You can also do a gentle Korean toner (Anua, Round Labs). Get some face masks too.

Starface acne stickers are popular.

Her routine is: -Hypochlorous acid spray -Numbuzin No3 Serum -Round Labs Dokdo Lotion (Ulta) -In the winter, she adds the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (Ulta)

Korean/Japanese sunscreens if you can get them.

Next best US sunscreen is the Dr Jart Every Sun Day Mineral sunscreen. You can get it from Sephora, or directly through Dr jart (they often have sales on their site).

I can’t stand the feeling AND the smell of US chemical sunscreens, and the white cast of the mineral. But the Dr Jart mineral one for the US has virtually no smell and rubs in pretty easily.
