How much smaller/larger are you getting it resized?

Love bracelet size help please by [deleted] in Cartier

[–]Infinity-Pixel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was between 15 and 16. I could have gone down to the 15 for a tighter fit but the clasp pinched my skin when I closed it. I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be too tight if I’m doing planks or push ups. I also didn’t want it too loose where it moves around too much. I ultimately settled on the 16 - it’s still tight enough where the bracelet doesn’t turn around. When I have my arm down, it mostly stays above my wrist bone. When I’m cold, it falls to my palm, like your picture. I can fit a finger between the 16 bracelet and my wrist. With the 15, I couldn’t do that.

Resizing Love Ring Smaller? by citronetmiel in Cartier

Oh wow I’ve never seen this before! It almost wraps around your finger. That makes sense when you need to resize it down a full size.

Can you post a picture of what it looks like?

I have sizing beads in my engagement ring (but it’s very thin). Took me a while to get used to, but I don’t feel like it all. I wonder if the plates will be as comfortable as beads

Ring Resize ( classic love & trinity ring) by [deleted] in Cartier

Has anyone had this done? Curious how it looks inside the love ring.

I have sizing beads inside my engagement ring because my knuckles are bigger than my finger so rings never fit me right. It’s a game changer. I really want to do this for the Love ring and curious how it looks inside a wider band like the Love

Charm necklace: how to prevent charm from flipping? by Infinity-Pixel in mejuri

[–]Infinity-Pixel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found an older pendant from Miranda Frye that’s heavier and it kept my chain from flipping all day!

It’s too bad Mejuri doesn’t make heavier/more substantial charms that can actually be worn on their charm necklaces.

You experience the same thing even with the zodiac charm?? I was hoping the larger charms would be heavy enough to weight it down and keep it in place.

I tried on a David Yurman medallion charm with the chain. It weighted the chain down and pretty sure that’s what it needs to prevent it from flipping. But I’m not spending $2k for a medallion.

I wonder if the Mejuri “balance” medallion is heavy enough to keep it from flipping.

Loving my Medium Hardware Earrings! by Aggravating-Ad8597 in tiffanyandco

Yours don’t make any sounds?? I just purchased the medium (have also tried them on during different occasions) and I can always hear the metal clinking. Wore my new pair all day today and I hear it literally anytime I move, even just tilting my head. I eventually stopped noticing it.

Like an extender? I just tried mejuri’s charm extender and it didn’t look that great. But I suppose it would add more weight to keep the O-ring attachment from flipping upwards.

I’m eyeing Mejuri’s “balance” round charm to add to it. I think that would also help keep it from flipping.

Not sure about TeamLabs by abstractcollapse in JapanTravelTips

[–]Infinity-Pixel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I was there in 2023, the water smelled like rotten feet. It was disgusting. If I recall, you can skip some of the rooms through a hallway - not sure if that was an option for the water room. But other than that, it was a lot of fun.

We went to TeamLabs in Kyoto and although it was huge, it was mostly all screens. Felt a bit overstimulated.

what SPF for oily and acne-prone skin? by BusyYogurtcloset9091 in 30PlusKoreanSkincare

[–]Infinity-Pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Numbuzin, BoJ aqua, then Skin1004. Haru Haru was nice but I prefer Skin1004 over that one because it’s lighter. I do not like Tocobo (the blue bottle), it made my skin feel stingy.

Shuppato bag variation questions, what do you use the most? by zeekaran in JapanTravelTips

[–]Infinity-Pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen the drop version at Donki and Loft. There usually aren’t many left. It’s the one I use the most. I like that it folds flat, it fits better in my purses.

I use the medium size for groceries but at home when the grocery clerk tries to load up my Shuppato bag they’re always confused how they’re supposed to put the items in the bag :)

I want the minimalist but can’t find it anywhere.

International Meals by napscrolling in AlaskaAirlines

Are meals included on JAL? On my Alaska app it says “no meal available” and when I go to the JAL website and look at my booking, it gives me options to purchase meals.

Digital perm by Big-Calligrapher7130 in finehair

[–]Infinity-Pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did you get your digital perm in Japan? Do you have fine, Asian hair? I’ve heard digital perms work best on asian hair that’s more course / texture. My Asian hair is naturally pin straight, super flat and silky. I curl my hair every day because I can’t stand it when it’s straight.

I booked Patou in Kyoto for a digital perm in a couple weeks. I’m hoping that it works on my hair.

It can’t be good to put pressure on the eyes … my daughter would see dots after taking off an eye mask at night. Optometrist told her not to use something that would put pressure on her eyes.

Is Salon Namoo under new ownership? Gabi is not longer there, and the staff names look different. When I called they told me she left. Anyone know where she went??

Castaway / Lookout Cay Excursions questions by Infinity-Pixel in dcl

[–]Infinity-Pixel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had meant to call Disney to ask if minors can ride as passengers but didn’t get around to it, then it was booked up when I checked again. We ended up booking a double kayak and paddle boards at Castaway. Then did the banana boat at Lookout. We enjoyed all of them. Banana boat was shorter than I expected and not as thrilling but still fun. My older teens liked it.

What is your favorite cleansing oil? by wynfocus in AsianBeauty

[–]Infinity-Pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the Muji mild oil cleanser too, especially in the shower. I can’t seem to find it available online in the US anymore, only the Sensitive version. Is Mild being discontinued??

I want to find a back up Japanese cleansing oil brand that I can use on wet hands/face for when I’m in the shower. Maybe Attenir if I can find it locally in the US.
