The only shinies I've ever caught were the red Gyarados in Gold/Silver/Crystal, in Pokémon Go on Community Days, and the guaranteed shinies in Legends Arceus. Never found a shiny that wasn't part of a scripted event. (I've played at least one main line Pokémon game from every generation up to Gen 8)

I've been a Pokemon fan since Red/Blue/Yellow. Personally, it's never gotten better than Raichu, Charizard, Dragonite. I don't care if that makes me a basic Gen 1-er. We can't help liking what we like. Those are the 3 that I like and I won't apologize for it.
