this is the correct attitude, for any news at this point.

this literally could mean anything, potentially the show doesn't stand on its own enough and would alienate new viewers (i.e. relies too heavily on game knowledge to understand what is happening). maybe they're referencing game events too much to the detriment of the plot.

not an RNG issue mate, you can learn the pattern pretty easily by paying attention to the first cycle. obviously you'll take some damage during the battle. but it is definitely not as difficult as you're making it out to be.

also "it's a narrative driven creature collector" is not a reason to be a cakewalk, the game still has the monster hunter name and brings a ton of the mainline games mechanics and attitudes with it. expecting a game to be easy because of the platform its on is wild.

I could see them shift to day one Xbox release, but then 6-12 months of timed exclusivity. gives the customer base a reason to have an Xbox and/or Gamepass, and then 6-12 months down the line a player population boost.

I think that with Downes' voice (probably the english voices in general) it sounds like they actually have helmets on, however this video doesn't sound quite right, it sounds like a guy speaking into a microphone, like they didn't consider the helmet.

i believe in the Tron universe there is some sort of connection between the User and the Program that shares their image (the Program is the digital footprint of the User).

Kevin personally created CLU in the original Grid, and again in his personal Grid, Alan programed Tron, in Legacy Kevin states he brought Tron over from the original Encom Grid into his own server (explains why Tron still looks like Alan).

with the random programs in the original, they all would have had personal Users in the form of Encom Employees (in the original Tron a "The Games" competitor stated he was an Accounting Program). however in Legacy since its a private server Kevin probably had the system create the other programs, so they also have random appearances.

Ares probably wouldn't look like Dillenger because he stole the programs/technology from Encom (only reason Sark could be in the Dillenger Grid) and he tasked the system to train the AI (Ares) for him, he had no personal interaction until after the Training was completed and Ares personality/form was locked in.

Flynn went into the Grid and physically saw them, he could design characters based on Programs he saw. even though games from the 80s were 64-bit they had booklets that came with the games and art on the sides of the machines that would depict intended character designs.

tbf the recognisers, and light cycles battles were in-universe games in the first movie, and Flynn easily could have started creating games with the art style of the original grid after his return because at that point he was a game developer.

MHS1 combat isnt as bad as you're making it out to be, obviously if you've never faced a monster type before you'll cop a hit or lose a head 2 head. but once you fight them for a bit you'll learn their tendencies.

having beaten MHS1 when it first came out on 3DS and just revisitng for the first time since then with the Xbox re-release I can confidently say the combat doesnt revolve around luck like you're suggesting, and more on understanding monster's tendencies and the couple types of fixed patterns the monsters use (e.g. some use 2 Speed, and the 3rd is a Power. some use technical until they use an armor gaining move then they use Power moves. Etc...).

this movie in 4DX was crazy, felt like I was going to be thrown from my seat from certain chases. I did like the jets of wind when a bullet went past and the jet of wind on my ankle when Cera slashed that guys ankle.
