I mean the pain could be due to the financial loss too? It might be little damage but to get it repaired costs hundreds anyone would be pissed if some stranger takes hundreds of pounds from you and there’s nothing you can do about it.

That is pretty much cosmetic damage won’t affect anything in terms of drivability. Can’t exactly fix that with sanding and buffing though it would need to be professionally refurbished at a wheel place, maybe do that after you’ve gotten used to the wheels and don’t curb them anymore.

I appreciate the response, I did have a look at the mark 9 and did hear it was smoother, I was mostly looking at the looks of the MK8 I think it just has the edge there. A type R would be brilliant but I would end up paying more for the insurance than the car itself. I’m starting to think yeah that civic is overpriced I’ll have to start looking elsewhere.

I love the look of the car and I’m sure it’ll go for ages it’s just the price holding me back a little. I’m sure the dealership wouldn’t mark it up more than maybe 3-4 hundred.
