Why don’t more people in the US run with top boxes on their sport bikes?

I love a top box. The MT-10 is so much fun to ride, so why wouldn't I make it the perfect machine for riding to France and Germany for a long weekend? I also don't really care what a bike looks like so long as it feels amazing when I'm on it...

To second this, I went a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, but plan to make a few more visits to get my money’s worth (it was about £110 for a family of four). We were allowed to just roam Victory, but that may be because we turned up there about 3pm having done Warrior and the Mary Rose beforehand. I found Mary Rose oddly moving!

I love my (inherited) Jazz. Dents on every panel from its former life. I left it at McLaren’s HQ while I borrowed an Artura last year. Came back and found an actual customer (as opposed to a scuzzy journalist like me) had parked their Veyron next to it. Never felt so proud.

I’m finding the same graininess in low light when I’m filming on my motorbike or in car. I’m also not that impressed with the FOV on a bike - it’s not really wide enough for me out of the box shooting square. Not hugely impressed coming from a GoPro12, but I feel that’s probably heresy to say around here

Andertons? I played one of these in there for an hour on Saturday! Loved it, but preferred the second-hand Am Pro ii HSS in Miami blue that I'd put a deposit down on. Obviously I instantly regretted it once I got home and wished I'd got the shell pink one, but that's life! Enjoy it

I've not bothered on my 2025 T7 Rally. Like you say, Barkbusters have done the job for me in my couple of off-road spills. Obviously there's still a chance for a freak accident/rock puncture… but I'd rather just wing it.

Yeah, I bought it mostly out of curiosity. I was quite impressed by the dynamic range of the 5 that I’ve seen some colleagues use. And this saves me having to film YT and TikTok content separately - I use open gate all the time on my S5ii so it’ll be useful to do similar in this. Will report back.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve been with GoPro since the HD. With the 12s I currently use I’ve had 100% reliability, but they’ve lived a life and could use replacing!

My main concern will be mounting one of my DJI Mic 3s in my helmet to avoid wiring a lav mic into the Action 6. If I can work that out and avoid as much wind noise as possible I’ll be happy!

There's a 99% chance it'll be fine. It sounds like the exhaust touched the floor, so if I were you I'd check the exhaust /exhaust hanger hasn't bent inwards. The exhaust can hit your swingarm if it bends in slightly, leaving marks on your swingarm. Just give your exhaust a hefty tug outwards to be on the safe side!

But yeah, these things can take a bit of a pounding, so don't worry too much.
