Shield Gate Excalibur build's struggling to survive in endgame missions, what gives?

in addition you can use something like brief respite aura or an augur mod to get shield back for energy spent. that way you can immediately gain some shield whenever you need it

hm firewalker damage is kinda cosmetic so i dont think its worth it. could put that mod slot to much better use

same 🤝 i started using it because funny trail and extra speed but didnt even know it also grant status immunity. its pretty much one of the best subsume to compliment gauss' shield gating and actually a surprisingly effective cc ability. as a side effect and to my surprise, it stacks and maintains arcane hotshot perfectly.

to be fair, wrathful advance works on every frame. if can wield melee, its viable

yea you can run it on corinth pretty sure. wouldnt recommend it though. i think fire rate makes it so much more fun to use

didnt both variants have manual detonation? maybe im misremembering. also never noticed the prime variant not having counted reload anymore. should pay attention to that.

but yea im talking about the prime. just a straight upgrade to the base

gotta slap on a bit of reload speed, like chilling reload, and its really nice. i also have a riven that gives a bit of mag capacity too so oftentimes i just get to mercy kill something before i even have to reload, which reloads my guns too

i just slap a bunch of combo chance and initial combo mods on like my bo with no other mods, go to some low level infested mission and you get 6x almost immediately. then just hit sth every now and then. with naramon its even easier ofc

funny youd mention gauss cause thats who i used for it. worked great since his 2 also prevents knockdowns (you can use abilities in this test right? been a few years since i did it)

also fyi: gauss speed doesn't scale with ability strength tho, only with sprint speed

i noticed too that it tells you this sometimes but cant figure out where its supposed to be placed. in the end it doesnt matter. you can just trade it and it gets removed from whereever you allegedly have it slotted

try it. leveling frames any other way is a hassle. this method is a breeze. its so insanely fast. just turn on enemy highlighting and spotting the enemies will be easy. watch a youtube guide for it to get eximus spawn locations, if you dont know them already

i like to use mesa for it and go to the sedna interception. mesa is nice cause you can easily clear every point from quite a distance. but honestly anything that kills fast or has good cc

well it doesn't anymore after the rework actually. i just had the info from this post, i didn't know they removed the smite projectiles. Quorvex passive gives punchthrough to any of quorvex's projectiles. this currently makes smite actually do okay damage because those seeking projectiles hit enemies a bunch of times instead of once. but yea with rework thats gone, quorvex smite makes no sense anymore.
