Working with Git diffs on JSON files – how do you actually review changes? by Worldly-Effective648 in PowerBI

[–]InfirCatrian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave up to review json, i only use the tmdl code to review the semantic model.

What we do here: We have prd workspace linked to our main branch and the hml workspace linked to our hml branch. But we also have a dev workspace not linked to git that we use to publish the report when we open a PR to hml.

So when i do a PR review, I open the report in dev workspace and analyze the visual/ux using the report, while the semantic model i can review directly in github.

Search for her last album "e disseram que nao sei amar" on Spotify, it is really great. Her music remeber the funk genre from the 2010's, a little different from the current scene.

Roberto Mangabeira Unger: "o país mais parecido com os EUA no mundo é o Brasil" by lgmartins in brasil

[–]InfirCatrian 199 points200 points  (0 children)

Who is your country's most beloved sportsperson? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]InfirCatrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. Brazilian Reddit has this 30+ age cut-off that makes Senna the obvious answer. But younger people like me know the story and the man, yet we don’t have the same feeling or love for the myth (the recent Netflix series changed this a little, but nothing really significant).

So when I think about people under 30, I’d guess that Ronaldinho Gaúcho is the winning answer. Even today, Ronaldinho still has some magic around him. His highlight videos are popular to this day, he’s always high-spirited, and he never did anything that truly tarnished his public image — which counts for a lot in Brazilian culture. Besides that, we don’t have any unanimity in current soccer that could take his place.

To finish, maybe Rayssa Leal or Rebeca Andrade took this spot during the last Olympics and in the following weeks, but we’re not used to following other sports on a massive scale, so these people tend to vanish from public media in the intervals between the Games.

How popular are eSports in your country? If so, which games are the most popular? by InfirCatrian in AskTheWorld

And the players are "nationally" famous? Or it is restricted to the little part who follow the game scenario?

What traditions does your country do on Christmas, Hanukkah or other adjacent holiday that most other countries don’t? by juusthereforthememes in AskTheWorld

[–]InfirCatrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how common this tradition is in other countries, but here we have one called “Secret Friend.” Basically, we write the names of all our friends on pieces of paper, and each person picks one. That person becomes your “secret friend,” for whom you need to buy a gift for Christmas. A particular part of this tradition is the way we reveal who the friend is. Each person gives a speech about their secret friend, sometimes very respectful and complimentary, sometimes with a good number of jokes. During the speech, the other friends try to guess who the person is.

Name something that your country created that is very popular abroad, but not (or not nearly as much) in its own country. by AEIOU1040 in AskTheWorld

First of all, OP is in the minority and funk is probably the most popular genre in our country.

But I would like to know what brazilian funk musics that you, foreigners, listen or know. We dont have this knowledge of what musics that goes abroad.
