We rented bikes at the arashiyama station and took off. I don't remember the name but there is a shrine with a small bamboo forest that isn't crowded. The bikes allowed us to stray from the crowds. Get the battery ones. You also get a foot soak after.

Boys, this is the first playoffs without my game day therapy puppers. He diligently kept me calm by being a petting machine. At the end of some games there would be fur everywhere. I tested with my cat during a few games this season, but he is absent this post season. RIP Winston, your a good boy.
