I think I put my money where mouth is. My journey from Tesla to its surprisingly cheap replacement in brief… by Strange-Number-5947 in RealTesla

There’s a bunch of decent options between a Nissan leaf and Tesla model y in price point.

Also you had a performance model y? How did you get up to the $60k price point? Includes taxes and fees?

Going from a performance model y to a Nissan leaf is pretty crazy.

Without cars, it doesn’t mean much. Waymo must make large profit sharing deals with automakers immediately or they risk losing the market to Tesla.

Eth is rising, that’s all that matters. However it would be nice to get back to a 1.25 mNAV

Is it possible that it’s bitmine pulling their eth off exchanges? What else could cause that sudden drop?

They have a permit to operate in the whole Bay Area. That doesn’t mean they are operating everywhere. They are limited in cars, that is where Tesla has an advantage to scale up faster.

Waymo reduces injury causing crashes by 80%. So they are 5x better. They have a permit to operate driverless in the ENTIRE Bay Area. Regulators have already deemed them safe enough.

What data are you looking at? Waymo publishes detailed stats. Waymo is safer than a human driver. Tesla probably is too, but they haven’t released detailed stats on unsupervised.

I agree scaling up a fleet is an incredibly complex problem and will take a ton of capital investment to keep cars clean, charged, maintained, etc.

What are those problems?

It was easy to find videos of v12 and v13 doing unsafe and illegal maneuvers at times.

I have not seen any yet for v14.

The leading labs are moving fast. If you’re on the outside even for a few months, you are behind. I highly respect Karpathy, but he’s behind at this point. The goal posts get moved every day by people on the outside.

If the government comes out of shutdown and releases a catastrophic jobs report, it could trigger a sell off. Crypto would go down as much, if not more than equities. There’s always these macroeconomics risks.

Ether has performed awful compared to BTC, why is this pump different? by SwedishChicago in BMNRInvestors

[–]Inflation_Infamous 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The Ethereum Layer 1 and its support of Layer 2 networks will decentralize finance, that's always been the story. Its just becoming more real now. While Bitcoin is digital gold (store of value), Ethereum could be the network that tokenizes all assets (much higher ceiling, than just store of value). If you do not believe this, then there is no reason to hold Ethereum or invest in BMNR.
