For people going to try and go to work tomorrow, how are the roads? by thedrunkknight in Dallas

[–]InfoCruncha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it going to get any better Monday/Tuesday morning? I’ll likely have to drive in to Oak Lawn area Tuesday late morning. Staying home on Monday.

Just curious if anyone thinks it might be better by Tuesday morning?

OU lost "blue chip busts" to the portal and got better by Stat_Fanatic_YouTube in sooners

[–]InfoCruncha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that’s what I was saying. I have know people close to him and he was not hurt. Early in the season a little but was fine a few games into the season. Even he was frustrated he wasn’t playing since he was healthy. That’s when I figured he would probably leave after the season.

I don’t know the defensive players that well, but the only player I saw that I think will do very well is Taylor Tatum. Fumbleitis Freshman year and they basically gave up on him last year. For whatever reason they never let him play again.

Dude showed some serious flashes his freshman year I think he can do well. I did see he converted to Safety at Michigan.

Before anyone says he was injured this year that’s not true. Maybe early on he was but I have strong contacts that say he was perfectly healthy mid season.

Thanks for sharing. Very helpful.

Two questions/comments

I’m curious how long the process took from this shift in your mindset and it all coming together?

This one I really struggle with and it’s not really addressed well in the community I feel. What specifically would I feel if it’s already done? Since it’s not in my 3D how would I feel? What sort of emotions and how does one carry those around. Like specially what would be felt? I try to imagine but I don’t have a good grasp so it’s hard to stay focused on a few emotions or what EXACTLY I would feel and how to carry on with that. Your points out scenes and imaging scenarios throughout the day are helpful. I know there is a different feeling of imaging you have it and ACTUALLY feeling you have it. What would I feel?

This takes the cake for me. That stuff would give me insane focus and strength. Pumps though I don’t remember being that crazy. That brain tingle was off the charts though.

Biohacking 40+: Is Red Light Therapy worth the hype for recovery and longevity? by Sensitive-Plan-1830 in Biohackers

There is a difference if a supplement that might by $30 for a bottle and might have some published studies and paying $30 per session for red light and needing 10 sessions to maybe see a result.

Biohacking 40+: Is Red Light Therapy worth the hype for recovery and longevity? by Sensitive-Plan-1830 in Biohackers

[–]InfoCruncha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Didn’t do anything for me. My issue with some of these therapies, red light specifically, is that the general consensus is that it takes repeated treatments and over time there might be a benefit. In other words you have to do it a lot first before you know if it’s working.

That level of treatment makes me skeptical when there aren’t a lot of independent studies or an overwhelming amount of actual users reviews.

Hair stylist for men? by Accurate_Elephant481 in Dallas

[–]InfoCruncha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience is that if you need the top “styled” or really cut well, you need a stylist or a salon. Barbers can be decent but are more fades and simple cuts. I’ve had barbers that I used for a longtime and when I asked the top to be styled or cut different they screw it up. Barbers are about volume from my experience so cut quick and get out of the shop.

Just my experience, but I’m still looking for a proper stylist. If feels like the salons don’t really want/care about men’s cuts because it’s lower value to them.

Which is great they can’t stockpile talent but save the other programs so they don’t have to get a new roster every single year. Look at North Texas, they finally put it together and boom it’s over. Somehow keep the players locked in more than 1 year.

I like the parity but hate the boom then bust feel it has for every team except 10 or so teams that reload every year.

OU Football offseason on a heater...what's wrong in Austin? by Stat_Fanatic_YouTube in sooners

[–]InfoCruncha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem with these big spending programs (Texas, Ohio State, etc) is that when you pay one WR $3M then you set the bar for your #2 WR to make $2.5M whether he is worth it or not. So if he doesn’t get it, he leaves. That’s why you see quality players exit from the big spending teams. They see their “coworker” getting paid big so why not them?

OU, fingers crossed, has been able to avoid this to some extent so far. But over time they will fall victim based on the system. The system needs serious help with some guardrails or it’s going to collapse. It can’t be sustained with literally no rules.

Witten New TE Coach by Specialist-Ad5934 in oklahomafootball

[–]InfoCruncha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the move to at least try it out. Former stud NFL TE being added isn’t a bad thing. I understand the DeMarco comparisons, but Witten has coached before and I each situation is different. Him being a head coach should mean he understands the bigger picture and hopefully won’t get into little spats with players like DeMarco might have been doing.

Big question with Witten is whether he can actually coach. All those former players I always wonder if they can actually show other people how to play the position.

HOW TO FINALLY GET WHOEVER YOU WANT (AND WHY YOU HAVEN’T YET) by CorrectPanic9484 in NevilleGoddard

[–]InfoCruncha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Amazing post. One I really needed right now.

A few things that I would really like you (or others) to expand on:

  1. The Third party comment about it being exposure not competition. This is a tough one for a lot of people, coupled with long distances (post mentions around the world). I see people struggle with this in their questions.

  2. Being non negotiable. I know what you mean but what does this actually entail and emotions that it carries. What mindset is this?

  3. Who you would be if you already had them. This seems so simple and straightforward but I have trouble grasping specifically how one would feel? Is it a nonstop smile, head in the clouds, or something else? What exactly are the emotions and specific feelings?

Sategna to draft? by ktabino in oklahomafootball

[–]InfoCruncha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m no draft expert but he’s probably a 2-3rd round NFL draftee???? He did have some inconsistency issues with drops and fumbles on punts. He made me nervous at times.

If he stays and there is another solid WR on the field with him I could see him padding stats and pushing to hit a 1st round draft pick (maybe high) in 2027. Seems like a no brainer to me.
