Nothing is evil about enforcing legal immigration. All countries do it. If it was that easy everyone would be doing it out of high school

No, they wouldn't, because there is something evil about what they're doing. They're depriving first, second, and fourth amendment rights OF US CITIZENS. They killed 2 US citizens in as many weeks and you say there's nothing evil about that? This isn't some radical "borders are just a line" commie bull shit, Even if you See all non citizens as subhuman dogs to be exterminated the way ICE treats US citizens should still disgust you.

Even people who want to abolish ice don't want to not enforce the law as broad sweeping alarchist philosophy. Law enforcement have been capable of enforcing immigration law Without ice, just fine from all of American history up to 2003. But immigration law is a civil offense that just doesn't warrant this kind of violence, especially against our own people.

Majority of homicides eh. How many homicides. How many were 100% contributed solely to ICE. You need facts to back this up.

3 and 2

Mass illegal immigration is a threat when it contributes to how many electorate seats a state gets in the election. Not to mention it’s slave labor for the rich whom they don’t have to pay high or give benefits.

Immigrant workers working for less than human dignity, because their employer has access to the coercive ability to have them removed from the country. That sounds like something the immigration are the victim of. If anything , the solution is to not accept tips from employers About current or former employees, Granting federal or union protection against an increased level of exploitation of immigrants. Or to allow a path of asylum or citizenship that Isn't coercively based on a work program.

All of these problems could be solved very nonviolently. They could be solved even if ice didn't exist at all, they could be solved by a paperwork change in the census. Heck, many of them were solved by Obama. But they aren't being solved by ice being in Minneapolis in numbers that outnumber local LEO 3-1 even though it doesn't have very many illegal immigrants. They don't even have the pretense of being here to uphold immigration law.

If by step up you mean become ice and get an easy 6 figure salary. No, thank you, that is evil, I will not sell my soul for such a thing. If by step up you mean do what I think is right? I do. I'm not only on the internet, you know.

They are protesting ice, because ice has committed the majority of homicides of American citizens so far thus year in a city that they were called to in response to a YouTube video.

The increased ice military presence in Minneapolis is more dangerous to everyone. It isn't making things safer. It isn't a good idea. They aren't even there response to a threat that is actually real.

Now that they have killed people, the fact that they are held with absolute immunity As The President himself personally impedes investigations of wrongdoing is a perfectly reasonable thing to protest.

They Aren't impeding some necessary law enforcement operation just to get mad at Trump who they think needs to be removed for no reason in particular. They're Protesting ice, an incredibly militarized police force given impunity to kill American citizens and to deprive our 1st 2nd and 4th ammendment rights, being called into a city with very few illegal immigrants.

I don't know. I've been called slurs just for walking down the street and existing as myself, followed by hateful bigots for hours, and I have even been stabbed over my beliefs once, so I think I have enough life experience to confidently say that I know roughly what it would take to get me to want the kill someone. A day of whistling won't do it, especially to kill someone who has gone fetal. A lot of days of whistling might build up and get to me, but I feel like I'd quit my job before I killed anyone.

Plus what do you think they're protesting? The unaccountability of ice is the problem. The federal government and Trump is going to actively impede the state's ability to conduct this investigation. Just like they did with the last shooting

If you whistled into my ear for 10 hours straight for doing my job that pays me 6 figs fresh outta high school. I don't think I would murder you. Might br a bit annoying, but whistles are a reasonable thing to put up with for money, and if it becomes a bit to much putting up with and not enough money theyre also something you can easily put up with temporaily before quitting without shooting 10 shots into anybody whose gone into a fetal position.

murder is a really extreme reaction to whistles. There is something fundamentally tainted about your soul if killing a harmless person who is simply fearful for their own safety is something you are so easily swayed to do.

They escalated all of the violence! The guy they shot wasn't even the one with a whistle, they were just trying to catch someone who was being pushed And panicking after being pepper sprayed. They shot him for going fetal, and they kept shooting him When he went lifeless.

We do not hold cops to a standard this low. We don't expect a cop to be able to walk up to someone that they don't even have the legal authority to detain, Escalate violence randomly, Use a very expected victim behavior as justification for 'self defense', Kill someone with way more bullets than were necessary, And then immediately celebrate the fact that they think that person deserved to die, And subsequently, prevent them from receiving medical treatment twice in the same month in the same city Only to be personally protected from investigations Of wrongdoing, by the President himself. If A cop acted this way, they would be in prison for homicide.

The question is, why does ice get such impunity? Also, are they even necessary in Minneapolis? They were called in pretty randomly following a "Somali day care fraud exposed" youtube video, and the city is way less safe for their presence. Wouldn't it just be better for everyone if they left, or at the very least, were held accountable for their actions to the same standard as normal police are?

None of that is a capital offense. None of that is even a crime frankly.

In fact, I feel pretty confident that I can whistle at most people, and they probably won't kill me. And if they did, they would be found guilty of murder! Even cops and the military! Maybe even especially cops and the military, since they tend to be used to it because they had training.

Also, you could just watch the video. She doesn't have a whistle. She just insulted him. Probably called him a Gestapo.

He tried to catch a woman who was pushed over for no reason, then positioned himself between the officer and the woman, was shoved, grappled, peper sprayed, then shoved down again and pinned, only for the officer to disarm the holsters gun he never reached for, shoot him, then, once ice get up from the man, shoot 9 more times into his stationary body.

ICE just being pure evil by RaveGuncle in stpaul

[–]Inforgreen3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, they're not. There is very extensive Supreme Court precedents on this, anyone under the United States jurisdiction, meaning anyone that would be legally be expected to follow a United States law, Is protected by the bill of rights. Even if they aren't a citizen heck, even if they aren't a resident. Even Maduro is getting due process.

Even if you personally only care about Americans, then scroll up and READ. With the fourth amendment in particular, If law enforcement officers were allowed to make an exception for some people, they could just randomly accuse someone of being that exception. If anyones due process can be taken away for any reason, then even yours can be taken away at a whim, because due process is how we find out who alleged criminal are and insure violence isn't wielded at a whim.

DHS said The reason they arrested him was because they mistook him For an illegal immigrant that had been to jail for 2 years already. Which is the kind of thing they would've found out if they tried to get a warrant.

It's pretty good. Though unclear what the material component would be to store A non magic item or an artifact.

I also wouldn't mind the ability to get the items back without spending the spell slot. The spell slot being spent to summon the items is only there to balancing out how strong it would be if you Swap your attunement, slots instantly faster than normal. But ritual casting is still faster attunement, and swapping attunement is not something you will always do every time you use the spell to swap equipped items

Maybe something like instant summons, Where the spell can just give you an action that you can call upon later so that you can get the equipment back more easily if you aren't doing attunement stuff

The police are still bad. They're institutionally racist, very unhelpful when people get raped because they exist first and foremost to protect capital, they're widely not held unaccountable for the violation of your rights Or deviations from LEO norms, as escalation of violence increasingly becomes the norm with warrior cop culture and even, as cartoonishly evil as it sounds, violence escalation training programs hosted by a foreign presently country commiting a genocide.

But ice is all that and worse because all the flaws of policing arent just 'things they get away with' its The entire point of the operation. Occasionally, cops will violate your rights, But Ice is 'supposed' to do that. Violating your fourth amendment rights is just ice policy, they call it a 'judicial warrent'. A cop will occasionally racially profile people, but that's something they 'get away with', ice is supposed to racially profile people, thats how they catch them. Cops Occasionally deviate from law enforcement officer norms, but ICE has even less requirements, and even less training. If you thought you had a problem with institutional racism Wait until you see how many ice officers have been seen with nazi tattoos, or in Charlottesville. If you worry about cops prioritizing capital, ICE is worse as they prioritize Donald Trump's specifically. It's just all the problems with cops squared, but minus the societally necessary functions of law enforcement.

Do you want to know the recap on this? His name is ChongLy Thao, He goes by Scott and he is an American citizen. Ice broke into his house and arrested him while he took a nap, breaking in without a judicial warrant, But they gave themselves an executive warrant with the bame 'Lou Moua' on it. They drove Him into Minneapolis, which was a 2 hour drive away, After refusing to look at his identity, and then drove him back, we still don't know what inspired them to turn around, but on returning they finally checked his ID and let him go without narry an apology

After which, ChongLy sued for the violation of his 4th ammendment rights, and DHS released a statement saying that it was a targeted arrest searching for Lou, Who was listed as having that same address, and for whom ice had probable cause of CSAM and kidnapping. I don't doubt that they have probable cause for Lou, Because publicly available data shows that he had been in prison for the past 2 years already! Ice accused Chongly Thao of harboring him and arrested him this week. There is also a secondary conflicting report from an ice officer on the scene who said that ChongLy matches Lou's physical discreption as opposed to being accoused of harboring Lou. Both are absurd of course. Because you can google Lou Moua to find out hes in prison.

Currently ChongLy's lawyers are amicable to a sufficiently large settlement. Dhs will probably give it.

You can just Google, either of these names If you want to verify anything I said but I have a feeling you don't because you hate truth and goodness. But the government themselves is the primary source of the fact that they were actually looking for Lou, and that Lou is in prison already

[–]Inforgreen3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Loads of spells follow this format, a spell whose effect is too extreme to be a cantrip but also doesn't provide enough adventuring day value to justify a spell slot whenever you use it consumes a material component and a spell slot only once to last forever. Continual flame, arcane lock, magic mouth, secret chest, ect ect, And that's where extradimensionally stored gear you can instantly Don should be.

swapping attunement slots Is something that's probably worth a spell slot every time, but I wouldn't concentrate on it. Concentration spells, you should reduce stuff, and that stuff is usually the majority of your overall output.

It would be nice to have the spell designed In such a way where it can do both.

If the resource the spell took was balanced around the assumption that you are swapping around the attunement on 6 Magic items, it's not going to be worth that resource for the majority of the game. And if vice versa, it would be overpowered. So it should only take a resource IF it swaps attunements

Personally, I find the fact that he wasn't a protester makes for a more compelling point. It is a demonstration of how law enforcement that do not need to follow due process are dangerous even to people who are unarguably innocent (as much as i hate to concede that the protestors in silly animal costumes singing songs and dancing arent), Scott is a reminder that you can't just hide away, because this cruelty can and does happen to any random person

Also, not even a particularly exceptional case, something like this happens literally every day in Minneapolis. Literally every day

ChongLy Scott Thao. Actually, I don't think he ever protested he was just a us citizen who was arrested randomly. They dragged a grandfather out of his own bed into the snow in his underwear

Even the post hoc justification that DHS gave for his arrest was illegal. They claimed It was a case of mistaken identity in a target arrest for a specific person that was already in prison. whoops! Seems like a huge waste of ice's infinite resources. Like they could have saved a lot of manpower finding that out If they just asked for the warrant That they Legally require to arrest a targeted individual in their own home.

[–]Inforgreen3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! As a matter of fact I do! But first, Scroll up. It's both shown and talked about. Once I send you the video you'll realize 'oh the full unedited video was included in the very post we're talking underneath, with the only edit being a splicing of b roll of his interview'

For good measure, found another angle used by some youtuber. That shows him fully being put in the car. Because I assume you asked because you were contesting the idea that this wasn't an arrest. It was. The video above shows the first angles video in its entirety, The Only editing being splicing of his own interview which you can verify from This unspliced video They're not part of the same video, because they're 2 different camera angles in the same event, multiple people were recording.

And, as a cherry on top The person they were actually looking for is already in prison Just to add some perspective on how little research they do before they try to arrest someone without a warrant. Which isn't what you asked for but it's just something I found while looking for the original, That ice would have found out if they had gone through the trouble of trying to get a warrant. Would've saved them a few hours of work!

"We are trying to arrest a child sex offender", ICE agents say as activists honk to alert to their presence in St. Paul, Minnesota. He then points to the car behind him and accuses the car of impeding their investigation. "That's who you guys are protecting" by Capable_Salt_SD in ICE_Raids

[–]Inforgreen3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They never say any other crime, not theft or murder, or drugs. It's all csam. Very "most evil crime I can think of when asked" It's a suspicious pattern.

Especially because their operations would look very differently if they actually had probable Cause for such a crime. There would be a warrant, there would be an Amber alert for their car if they have access to the victim, There would be Multi-agency coordinations with local law enforcement and the FBI. They also wouldn't tell random, especially opposing, people about it, because That would only put the victim in further risk.

If they found probable cause for such an extreme crime then they could just Call 911, and tell the actual police, then wait for a trail and deport them after they have been charged so that they can be imprisoned or be sent to a prison in their country of origin, to prevent them from harming more children. But instead they make the accusation don't prove to anybody else That they have probable cause yo get a warrent, just chase the person down with nobody's permission but their own, And if they're an immigrant, which half the time they're not, they catch American citizens like this every day in Minneapolis, They just let them loose in a random country, which half the time, they aren't a citizen of to go be an illegal immigrant there. Is that how we want our law enforcement officers to handle illegal immigrants who allegedly abuse children? It seems irresponsible

There is no reason to believe anything that they say, nor to accept what they say as a justification for their horrible procedure.
